Parasite are the organisms that feeds on host and use host as a source to spend their life cycle and usually a host is greater than parasite do that it may provide a strong protection to parasite and there are two types of parasite.
Ectoparasites
Ectoparasites are the organisms which lives outside the body and harm the host
Example of ectoparasites are lice and fleas.
Endoparasites
Endoparasites are the organism that lives inside the body and harms the host.
Example of endoparasites are protozoa like plasmodium which also cause malaria.

Parasitism is a relationship between two organism In which one organism get benefit from the other and other organism get harm from one organism In this way they maintain a relationship between each other
Life cycle of a Parasite can be of two types.
Direct lifecycle
Indirect lifecycle
Direct lifecycle is a type of lifecycle in which parasite don't pas from intermediate stage which is larva and asexual stage and indirect lifecycle is a type of lifecycle in which parasite pass from adult and sexual stage which is also called final stage.
