First favorite cultural food is " Biryani"
Biryani is my most favorite food in Pakistan biryani is a main dish of any occasion or any gathering specially in Karachi we all are biryani lovers ans it's now our cultural food , There are many types of biryani "Sindhi chicken or beef biryani" "Bombay chicken or beef biryani" "pulao biryani" "fish biryani" "prawns biryani" "potatoes birynai" "vegetable biryani" lots of verity of biryani we have and the procedure is
very simple it's very convenient for us to made it with ready made spice pack there are so many brand we have who give us quality Racipe mix . But our mother used to made it with home made spices. And the taste of biryani is delicious.
quick review of making
- Ingredients
- Onions 4 medium size
- Potatoes 4
- Tomatoes 4 or 5
- Beef meat half kg
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Shan Bombay biryani masala
- Oil as required
- Basmati rice 4 cups
Recipe
First put the oil in pan then add some whole garam masla. Like 4 to 5 cloves and whole black paper and then add onions and fry until they become soft then add chop tomatoes and fry untill oil release .
Then add jinger garlic paste and add meat and fry after it we add shan masla and yogurt together and mix them all together and fry then wo add 3 cups of water to tender the meat with medium Flame .
β’ Add some green chillies and potatoes and cover with lid to cook we cooked it untill the meat will tender.
β’ Next we we make our rice. 4 cups of rice will soak in a water and take a big pan and pour some oil and white zeera and whole garam masala bay leaves.
β’ Then add the soaked rice and pour 5 cups of water and cook.
β’ We add salt to taste on it .
Then cheack the qorma when oile will release and meat will tender then its ready and then we make layers.
β’ Take another big pan and layerd with cooked rice and then pour qorma on it and the another layer of rice and pour All left qorma and last layer of rice and add some slice tomatoes,lemon and mint leaves and put some kewra assence and red food color.and put it on low Flame .
And its ready . BIRYANI is one those dish which is eaten all over the world.
Qorma (korma )
I love to eat Qorma, in our culture we used to made it in any gathering or wedding because everyone like it because it has thick gravy with chicken or beef chunks and it's has also verity there are irani Qorma , zafarni qorm also we add our own verity I always prefer to eat it because it's my all time favorite dish. I used to made in beef and I share quick review of making .
Ingredients .
- Chicken / beef half kg
- Yogurt
- Fry Onion
- Dry coconut
- Cream
- Mix Qorma spices
Racipe
First I add oil and add chicken or beef and fry for some minutes then add mix spices of Qorma and yogurt and cook until the meat tender then add dry coconut and fry Onion , cream for thick texture. And it's will be ready quick delicious in taste.
Daleem (Haleem)

Daleem is very famous food in our country and it's a mixture of all lentil and meat it's super healthy for us because it's has all the protein which we need because of lentil and meat there two type of daleem we specially made beef or chicken .

Ingredients
- Red lentil 1 cup
- Yellow lentil
- Chana lentil
- Whole wheat πΎ
- Joa
- Whole spices
- Meat (π or chicken π)
- Fry Onion
- Mint leaves
- Ginger sliced
- Lemon
Making
- First took all lentil or whole wheat and joa soaked them all together all night and then put them on flame add turmeric powder nad chili powder and salt to taste.
- In another pot add oiland fry Onion when it's fry add mea and cook for 10 ten minutes and then add all the spices of daleem mix then add 3 cup of water and cook until meat become tender we called it daleem qorma.
- When all the lentill because soft then add Qorma on it and blend them all together add mint leaves . And put it on low flame for half hour.
- For garnish we can use fry Onion , lemon and sliced ginger.
Naan katai (kind of biscuits)
Naan katayi is also my favorite it's kind of biscuits we eat them with tea specially in evening we love to eat them and it's very famous on pakistan , naan khatayi is very old and cultural sweet our elder ones are ate it because it's easy to eat. It has very soft texture .
It's very simple to made and delicious in taste .
Ingredients
- Gram flour
- Flour
- Ghee
- Ground sugar
Making
- Made dough of gram flour ,flour ground sugar and ghee then make round shape and then took small circle shape and cut small circle .
- Put them in pan and then bake in oven 25 minutes .
Chana Chaat or any street food
Stree food is love and in my city we all love street food it's now become our cultural food like chana Chaat ,gol gappy , bun kabab and many more things we can't deny that we don't eat street food because we all love to eat it I like the most ,gol gappy and chana Chaat we also can made in our home but the the taste of street food is unique and delicious I like that food.
In all over the country we used to it. Every city of Pakistan has its own street of food. In Karachi we have lots of street food we can found.
