Hi friends,
It's another day to share my participation in the contest held here in this community by
@suboohi which has the title One Picture And One Story Week #56. I will be sharing my point below.
Asabe is a young lady who lost her parents at a very tender age. Her parents were nomadic farmers before they passed away so when they were departing this world, they only left her with some little cows that she needed to care for as they were the only companions she would have since she was never introduced to any other family member or friend.
On this faithful day, Asabe decided to tire a rope on her cows and then lead them as she moved to the market. She intended to make some exchanges and get other things like foodstuffs. Everyone was amazed that she was able to put a rope on their necks and then lead them.
As she was going with them both tired on a rope their only child was also following them and moving gently. People along the road saw how joyful she was moving with her cows and they all decided to ask her questions as to how she was able to train these little cows given to her by her parents to reach a certain level.
She said to them, this was the only inheritance given to her by her parents and for that reason, she had to preserve it to the best of her effort. She does that because they are the only companion she has and today the cows all listen to her as she speaks. In the land where Asabe came from only men are known to care for cows but amazingly she became the first woman to break the standard and do things differently.
So that is the story of Adobe the orphan girl and her inheritance the cow that was given to her by her parents. She made a lot of people notice that you can utilize anything you are given at any point and time.
Moral Lesson
This story teaches that whatever you are given by your parents you can build on it. You may not be given everything you need in life but the little you have you can make good use of it and present it in the way others will also admire your effort. She raised her cows to the stage that everyone admired.
I want to invite @bonaventure24, @simonnwigwe, and @josepha, to join the contest in this community and share their entry participation.
Thanks for your participation. Best of luck for the contest.
