Concept of near sightedness
Near sightedness is the process where one finds it difficult to see object that is quite far from them. Object which is far from them does not look clear to them but rather look blur.
Symptom
A near sightedness patient finds it difficult to see from far distance and which may makes life difficult and uncomfortable for them.
Also such person tries to look and object with one parted-eye so it could be cleared for him
A short sightedness patient develop eye strain and also has severe headache.
Causes
Food: eating hot food severally develop near sightedness and also eating unhealthy food
Staying indoor is another reason for near sightedness..... staying indoor often where you remain stagnant in a certain place looks so easy to develop near sightedness
Genetic is another cause of near sightedness...... family background with the problem of such may easily be transferred to others who are yet to be born
Looking at a close object for a long time is another cause for near sightedness because whole looking at such object for a while it may affect your eyeball and which may be the cause to it.
Treatment/prevention
Apparently, near sightedness has no special treatment but continuous use of glasses and contact lenses can help correct it.
Having limit on light screen helps to prevent near sightedness
Avoid eating hot food
Avoid staying indoor, that's to say spending more time outdoor helps in the prevention of near sightedness
Avoid smoking.....most people may not know thay staying away from smoking is a good prevention to near sightedness
Concept of far sightedness
Far sightedness which is also known as hyperopia is the act where objects from near distance and not clearly visible for the patient. The patient suffering from far sightedness finds it difficult to detect and see clearly object that is quite far from where he is.
Symptoms
They develop rapidly headache especially when reading or trying to detect a particular object from far distance
A far sightedness patient sees thing blurry while reading and with that you can note what the problem is
They also develop eye strain
They also find it difficult in seeing things up close such as when making use of a computer
Causes
When the focusing power of the eye is week it may likely cause far sightedness and also when a particular eye ball is quite small.
Treatment/prevention
Then most advisable treatment for a far sightedness patient is making use of glasses and contact lens and this should
For adults suffering from this, they can undergo surgery which which will help change the shape of their cornea so that the focus of light can be well cleared.

Near sightedness and far sightedness is a case we should really emphasize more because so many people are ignorant over it and even when they are affected with it they should try as much as possible to undergo the preventive measures.
