πŸ’§WATER πŸ’¦
βœ… What do you understand by the word Water?

Water or water is an inorganic, transparent, tasteless, odorless and almost colorless chemical substance, which is a major component of the Earth's atmosphere and any living or plant cell. Although water does not provide any energy or organic nutrients to any animal or plant, from what we know so far, water is essential for the survival of all forms of life. For this reason, space scientists first look for the existence of water in the outer universe before looking for the existence of life. Because, it is still generally believed that if there is no water, then there can be no life.

The melting and boiling points of all substances change with changes in atmospheric pressure. When water vapor cools in the upper atmosphere and turns into fine water-particles and ice-particles, we call them clouds. When the water-particles increase in size and fall on the earth, it is called rain. When the ice-particles grow in size and fall on the earth, it is called snowfall. It can also be said here that the existence of water can also be seen in the form of liquid crystals on earth. The scientific name of water is dihydrogen monoxide according to the naming convention of chemical compounds.

βœ… What are the benefits of drinking water?

The food and gaseous elements needed by the organism go from cell to cell through water. Unnecessary substances of the cells can be transported through the water to certain excretory organs. Advanced plants absorb water from the soil using rhizomes. Animals collect water from food and drink only water separately. Some of the important functions of water in the living body are described below:

[1] Water is the main component of protoplasm.

[2] Water-mediated physical processes such as diffusion, osmosis, absorption etc. are carried out in living organisms.

[3] Green plants take water from the environment in the process of photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is not possible without water.

[4] As excess water in the plant body is released through transpiration, the plant body is cooler and the plant is able to absorb more water.

[5] Most metabolic activity in living cells occurs in the presence of water.

[6] Water protects various parts of the body from frictional injuries.

[7] Transport systems in living organisms are entirely water dependent. Transportation is not possible without water.

[4] Water helps maintain body temperature in animals.

[9] Ion formation is accelerated in the presence of water.

[10] Various stimulants maintain their effectiveness through water.

[11] Water helps maintain the shape of the cell or the whole body by maintaining the metabolic pressure of the cell. In the absence of water, symptoms of dehydration occur.

[12] Various mineral salts are absorbed into the body through water.

Note that a 70 kg human body contains about 47 liters of water. Human skin contains 20% water, muscles 75%, blood cells 60%, blood juice 92%.

βœ… FWhat if water had a color? Tell us your reaction on this.

A small amount of water or water may appear colorless but as the thickness increases, the water becomes dark blue in color. The blue color of water is a characteristic property caused by specific absorption and refraction of white light. Variations in water color can occur due to various impurities dissolved in water.

It's quite fun to imagine! If water had color, our world would look very colorful. Different reservoirs, rivers, and seas could have had different colors. For example, a river could be blue, and a lake could be green.

This would enhance the beauty of nature and make our surroundings more attractive. However, it is necessary to think about the effect on the environment if the color of the water changes. For example, a change in water color could have affected aquatic life and ecosystems.

βœ…Tell us a brief real life story concerning water.

In a small village lived a boy named Rahul. The main problem of the village was lack of water. The village's only well was dry, and rainwater was not enough.

One day Rahul decided that he would do something. He started digging a small pond near the village with his friends. At first everyone laughed at them, but Rahul and his friends did not give up. They worked day and night to dig the pond.

After some time, it rained and the pond filled with water. The villagers were surprised to see that the pond had solved their water problem. Thanks to the efforts of Rahul and his friends, the village became green again.

This story teaches us that big problems can be solved with small efforts and determination. πŸ’§

Essential element of life: water

The influence of water on the living world is immense Life would not exist on earth without water Water is also essential for human beings A human can survive on average only three days without water Microorganisms are single-celled organisms that are usually invisible to the naked eye and exist in single-celled form or as colonies of cells. They are also known as microbes or microscopic organisms because they can only be seen under a microscope. It is estimated that microorganisms make up about 60% of Earth's biomass.

Clean water is very important for good health. Human body is affected by various diseases by drinking contaminated water. Drinking contaminated water especially affects the kidneys. Many of us are not focused on drinking clean water. Those of us who live in cities try to at least boil water and eat it. People in the city generally use tank water. Since the tank has not been cleaned for many days, the tank is full of algae and dirt. Many of us don't pay attention to that. We will try to keep the water tank clean. Then we will be freed from various water borne diseases.

The most important use of water in agriculture is irrigation. In some developing countries about 90% of water is used for irrigation, and even in economically developed countries the majority of water is used for irrigation (in the US about 30% of fresh water is used for irrigation).

If we share through a blog, social media platform or any discussion, it will also help us to raise awareness among people about the importance of water and its conservation.

Let's talk about how important clean water is for our health and well-being. We should all strive to use clean drinking water and maintain the cleanliness of our water tanks.

The most significant use of water in agriculture is irrigation, which is a crucial aspect of food production.
