My Beautiful Self😊

I woke up today feeling so refreshed and excited for making through the night to another beautiful morning. New Year Eve is around the corner and I have a lot of work list to accomplish before the celebration begins.

My mother came to my room around and woke me up for morning devotion around 6:00am,, after the morning devotion, I headed outside to start my usual morning routines which includes, washing of plates, sweeping, mopping, washing dirty clothes, preparing breakfast etc.

After I was done with all my morning chores, I decided to prepare noodles for myself as breakfast, immediately I was done eating my breakfast, I went straight to the bathroom and took my morning bath before I continued with other work that I haven't completed yet.

I went to the market to buy few things I was going to use for making chin chin,, the market was too busy that I stayed in the market longer than I planned. Immediately I got back from the market, I mixed the chin chin and allowed it to stay for few minutes before I started frying it. It took me almost two hours before I finished frying the chin chin.

As soon as I was done frying the chin chin,, I took my bath and helped the hair dresser who was plaiting my elder sister,, few minutes later, we were done plaiting my sister's hair. Immediately we were done,, I went to a market square next to my street to watch my cultural dance still in celebration of Christmas.

When it was getting late,, I decided to come back simply because I don't like staying late outside. When I got home,, my younger brother has already prepared dinner, so I ate, took my bath and entered my room.

As I sat down on my bed in the room,, I felt grateful for the day spend frying chin chin and doing other house chores in preparation for the new year celebration. Though the day was very busy, but at the same time, it was filled with feeling of accomplishment, joy and delicious food.

As I lay down to have a peaceful night rest,, I knew that the new year celebration will be the most cherished of other years and a memorable one too!
