My Introduction to Steemit Culture by @pandev

A new environment is always good for a change. To be a better person your should be able to start close to people when you change your locality. This has brought me to the Steemit culture community and I thank the leadership for this contest.

Not talking much, I’m in the person of Abdul Wahab Osman. A student of the university of Ghana. I’m a Ghanaians and a boy of 24 years old. I’m not of height and I love being with people who are taller and same height with me.

I’m passionate about one and like to explore whatever it’s in it. Ranging from nature, traveling and to culture of different people is a great deal for me. I love to see people show love when they come to gather. It’s only culture that bring humanity together and I really love that..

I’m a Dagomba form the northern part of Ghana. The warriors of the land and we o have many cultures we love doing. From the Jara dance to Takai and so much more. The festivals we celebrate with our chiefs are the Damba festival and the vigil festival. It’s fun being along them. With culture of the people, it shows that you belong there and you will always be a pet of them.

Religion and culture I will say they the same. They are both a way of life. They have their prescriptions of how life should be lived. How well you manage certain things. Having to follow the two might be hypocritical. So I will say I’m a Muslim. A Muslim who value his Islamic values. Religion is a way of life one may also
Choose. The culture of origin is where we were born. But with religion, we say it’s a divine way we should follow to get back to the one who created us.

This is a great community with this great contest. I can’t say I’m not a Dagomba but when it comes to sharing my culture, I will go more for the Islamic culture than the origin culture.
I’m not perfect. My Dagomba culture is my identity. But it led me to islam and I can’t see islam hasn’t been the best culture to me ever since. I will share my culture with the people of Steemit.
