INTRODUCTION
Great Pakistan steemians how are you all doing I sincerely hope you all are having a very wonderful day, today I will be taking part in an amazing contest organised by @kunwal titled "Load of study"
In my entry I will be sharing with you all my own personal thoughts about the phrase "load of study" and some of the things that falls under it according to the given contest tips and I promise it will be interesting so sit back read and enjoy
LOAD OF STUDY" SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT IT.
Before continuing to expressing my own thoughts on what loads of study is, first let us look at what we mean by the word "study"
STUDY
As a very important part of learning and education as a whole the word study can be defined as the process of spending time in focusing on a particular subject in other to understand it more.
So now that we know what study is, that it's an act of focusing on a particular subject or field so what happens when the subject or areas of concentration becomes to many and that takes us to the theme of our contest today "Loads of study"
LOADS OF STUDY
This can be seen as a process in which a person donates a serious dedication into learning and in the acquisition of information and knowledge but in an overwhelming way which greatly consumes and demand much of the person's time
DO YOU HAVE PRESSURE OF STUDY FROM HOME OR YOU WERE UNDER PRESSURE TO STUDY? YOUR PARENTS SUPPORT YOU OR JUST WANTS GOOD MARKS?
Many students do experience lots of pressure in doing well in school which is to perform better academically and some of this are caused by themselves which is due to self determination to have good grades, while some are caused by their parents, schools or peer groups.
So in other to answer the above questions, Yes!! I was once under pressure to study back then when I was preparing to write my JAMB examinations and also while I was in college
While preparing for my JAMB examinations in 2019 I was so dedicated to having good grades because I have seen a lot of people writing the examination many times due to poor results so I wanted to write the exams ones and then qualify to gain admission into college, which caused me to study extra hard and dedicating most of my time in doing research
And also while I was still in college I'd face a huge pressure from study because since I didn't have any money to sort or bribe the lecturer's in other to get good grades, so I had to study hard to make the good grades my self even though the pressure was too much but it really worked for me
My father on the other hand is always very busy with his own work and all he wants is for you to come back home with good marks and good grades
WHICH SOURCES YOU USED FOR STUDIES?
In college if I'm not able to afford or buy a textbook the only source which I have been using to study was my mobile phone, which has greatly helped me in doing research online and the one thing I really like about it was that it really gave me a lot of clear definitions which is more than what I have in my lecture book which causes me to understand it more.
ANY TIPS FOR STUDENTS?
Some of the basic tips for students to adopt while studying are as follows;
- Don't skip class!
- Take notes.
- Ask questions.
- Create a study plan
- Don't just re-read but study.
DON'T SKIP CLASS
It is very important for a student not to skip classes because sometimes reading isn't just enough as you can understand more while listening to the teachers explanations
TAKE NOTES
Taking of notes during class can help us to memories and review what was being taught in a more clear and understandable manner
ASK QUESTIONS
There's this saying that I discovered which is "Timidity is not dignity" so it is very important for a student to always be bold to stand up and ask questions for proper explanation in the area he/she didn't understand
CREATE A STUDY PLAN
Creating of study plan is really helpful in time management which helps a student to reach his/her learning goals. A study plan helps motivate a student to learn, keeps them organised and lastly breaks study loads into manageable blocks.
DON'T JUST RE-READ BUT STUDY
This is always very common among students as there are always in for quoting their books instead of reading it with understanding in other to really get the message
ARE YOU HAPPY WITH YOUR STUDYING LIFE OR WAS?
Yes I was very much happy with my studying life as it has greatly educated me and has also taught me about so many important things in life which uptill this day I won't forget in a hurry
Through studying I was able to make new and amazing friends in life and has also helped awaken my true self also it has taught me to poses a good social life suitable for the community at large
CONCLUSION
