Festival brings joy, happiness, love, unity, sociability, and positivity into our lives. People who are away from their families to earn a living also come back to their families to celebrate festivals. Festivals remove our differences and create harmony among us.
Hello friends, I hope you are all well. As Muslims, we celebrate many festivals in a year. But there is one festival among us that is different from all others and honored by our Muslim nation. Through today's contest, I will share with you my favorite festival.
My Favorite Festival:- Eid-e-Miladunnabi
My favorite festival is the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi. This festival is celebrated in almost all Muslim countries in the world, specially Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia. It is celebrated to show respect and love to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
If our beloved Prophet had not come to earth, we would not have found Islam, the religion of peace. Our Prophet taught us how to live religiously and ethically. And the biggest thing is that our religious book, the Holy Quran, was revealed to him.
Therefore, every year on the 12th of the Arabic month of Rabiul Awal, we celebrate the festival of Miladunnabi on the holy Eid. On this day, we all Muslims gather at a special place and celebrate the festival by reciting religious verses and praying to the Creator for all the people of the world.
what kind of preparations do you do before the festival?
Every year, we make various preparations for this festival. In order to promote harmony among all, we all wear the same type of Punjabi on festival days. Moreover, on that day, we distribute free food and drinks to the Muslim brothers coming from different places.
I work as a volunteer with the mosque community in my area. We selected a special place to celebrate the festival. And we arrange a Vehicles fleet the night before so that everyone in our area can go together. All these preparations are made every year a week before the start of the festival.
when does it start and end?
This festival is celebrated every year on the 12th of the Arabic month of Rabiul Awal. Everyone starts gathering at the designated place in the morning. Muslim brothers from distant parts of the country come to the place in their own vehicles with everyone from their area.
Every year, the festival starts from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. We all start a rally from a certain place and continue rallying for 4-5 km by reciting different religious verses. Then the festival ends with everyone praying for the whole world. It is usually 3 to 4 p.m. to end the festival.
What do you do at your festival?
I celebrate the Miladunnabi festival with everyone following the rules of celebrating the festival. One of the objectives of our celebration of this festival is to create a sense of brotherhood among all Muslims.

Here, everyone distributes food to each other for free. It creates an act of kindness in everyone. I try to distribute free food and drinks to as many people as possible on this day. There, I work as a volunteer and take care of any problems for anyone coming from far away. Moreover, I recite the rules that we have for reciting religious verses..
how do you celebrate this festival?
On that day, I wear our religious dress, Punjabi. In the morning, we reach the designated place of our festival in the same vehicle with our local Muslim brothers. I complete the volunteer duties that are given to me there and discuss religious issues with Muslim brothers from different places.
When our festival rally starts, I recite our religious verses with everyone and shout slogans. At the end of the rally, I pray for myself, for my family, for my country, and for all the people of the world so that peace, order, and love will always be maintained in the world.
Conclusion
This festival is my favorite because, while all other festivals are celebrated with family, this one is celebrated with the Muslim brothers of the whole country. Here, everyone prays for everyone. Harmony, unity, love, and kindness are created among all.
