What do you understand by the word Market?

A market can be defined as a place where the business of buying and selling takes place. It can be a physical shop where there is an exchange between the seller who gives goods to the buyer in exchange of his money or an Online market whereby sellers upload their goods in their website and buyer's buys them online after which it is been delivered to their location.

In the market, there is usually competition between sellers. The market place also serves as a point of connection between the buyer and seller.

How often do you go to the market?

I go to the market mostly on Saturdays to stock up the house for the following week. But I also go to the market during the week if there is a need for it. Last week for instance I went to the market thrice.

What's your unforgettable market experience?

Hmmm, I can't forget the day I was almost beating to stupor in the market. It happened that I went to Onitsha main market few days to Christmas. The worst decision you will ever make is going to that market during festive period because people from different places usually come there to shop and this usually makes the market crowded. On day very day, I went with my sister. The crowd was so large that once you enter it no going back until you reach the end of the road. While we were struggling to reach the end of the road they caught a thief trying to steal from someone at my back. People started beating and throwing stones at him. As they were doing that I was praying and crying to God so that none of stones and stick will not mistakenly land on my body because they was no point of escape, everywhere was crowded. To crown the whole thing, they was a stampede and how I was able to get to the junction was still a miracle till today. From that day, I vowed never to go to Onitsha main market during festive period no matter what.

Currently in my Country Nigeria, the prices of things keeps on going up with the passing minute. Some of the goods and their prices in the market includes.
