What do you understand by the word Olympic?

The Olympic games are international multi-games that are mainly to foster unity among the whole world. The games are held every four years interval, where different athletes come together to display their talent.

The Olympics features games like football, long jump, shot put, swimming, jeveling, basketball, cycling, track, etc. The Olympics aims to bring unity and peace among the five continents of the world.

This year Olympics is hosted in Paris France.

Explain any 3 Olympic games.

FOOTBALL.

Football is a game that is played with all parts of our body except the hand, the age group for football is under 23 years with the exception of three older players for the men, but for women there is no age limit. The overall teams that can participate are 16 teams each representing their country and continent.

In the field of play, each team is allowed 11 players who play to win. But this year, the men's Olympic football event was won by Spain while the women's football event was won by the USA.

HURDLE EVENT

This is a type of track and field events that need special techniques to win. It is a type of game in which athletes run in obstacles or obstructions, here the athletes need more concentration, speed, strength, and special techniques while running.

Hurdles have different types.
1 Sprint hurdle: this is a 100-meter hurdle with ten hurdles (obstruction), 84 cm(33 inc high) this type is mainly for women.

2 intermediate hurdles: this is a 400-meter hurdle with ten hurdles obstruction, 91.4 cm (36 inches high). This type is for men and women.

TABLE TENNIS.

This is an interesting game played using a racket and a small lightweight ball by two or four players on a rectangular table measured 9x5 foot table and 6 inches net. The game aims to continue hitting the ball to your opponent until he loses the ball.

The game is a fast-paced sport, fun to play and watch and it is a social game.

Yes, my country Nigeria participate in the Paris Olympics in different events. Nigeria has 88 competitors in 12 different sports events.

FOOTBALL

Football is my favorite game that I love playing, is a game I just found myself playing and I don't know how. So if I am to represent my country in the Olympics that should be football.

Another sport game that I like is volleyball, but the truth is that I don't have the high to enjoy the game, I only sit back and dig(defend the ball from touching the ground).
