Greetings from a faithful heart; it has been a long time since I stopped writing on Steemit due to some personal reasons; since then, I have not been the same because it has affected me negatively, and I also miss my beloved Steemit family. But by the grace of God, I am back for good.

The story I want to share is about what happened to me on the 29 of December 2024. I love playing football more than any sport, and I took it as a career playing and hoping that one day God would take me places in football.

So, I realized that football as a career is not my calling, and I reduced playing it as I am already thirty-four years of age now; I only play it for fun.

Every December, we used to fix a date after Christmas to play a reunion match between team diaspora (players that are coming back home from another place for Christmas) vs home base players.

Last year, December on the 29 of December was the date for the match, and I played for team diaspora. But I was not lucky as I didn't finish the match due to the injury I sustained; it was an ankle injury.

After fixing the ankle back locally and having been indoors for two weeks before removing the bandage on my leg, a friend of mine helped me massage the leg twice a day. But in the process of massaging the leg, we realized an abnormality on the leg.

So we went for an x-ray. The X-ray shows that the small bond close to the ankle got broken and can only be normal through surgery. That is the story behind that picture above.

A special invitation to @josepha, @stef1, and @simonnwigwe to join the contest. Thank you.
