Monochrome Photography Challenge Week 23 | by @sandimal

Hope you all are well and I am @sandimal from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰. Today I am going to participate on the contest which is organizing by Steem for Pakistan community. Here I would like to thank @uzma4882 for taking us to this contest.

Monochrome Photography 📷

First let's see what monochrome is. Monochrome is the use of one color to show dark and light from dark to light of that color. Photography using this phenomenon is called monochrome photography. This monochrome photography helps to add some antiquity and some artistry to a place or an object.

So today, through the contest, I am going to show you some photos taken at a railway station and while traveling by train, under the concept of monochrome photography. This first photo shows a photo of the station taken from the bridge that falls over the tracks to travel from one side of the station to the other.

If you look closely at this photo, you can see the buildings of the city around the station in the distance. You can also see how the roof of the station is colored in a certain way.

In this second picture you can see a platform and a train stoped at the station. I have taken this picture from the other side of the platform. As this is a electric railway line you can see the lines of electric wires going above the railway track.

In the below picture you can see the opposite side of the same train. But this picture was not taken at the same station. There you can see the crowd. By the time this photo was taken, it was after 6 pm, so you can see how the lights are on.

As the last photo I chose a picture of a girl looking out the window of the train and looking ahead. You can see her enjoying the train journey. If you look closely at this photo, you can see that there is another railway line parallel to the train track.
