For One Picture One Story, I am presenting the picture as a metaphor for toxicity and horror. I will discuss a terrible disease. Yes, this is brain tumor. I have used the picture of this poisonous animal as a metaphor for its horror. Although the picture is used metaphorically, the incident is true. This time I am presenting the day incident of brain tumor.
The story of the boy I am presenting is 6 years old. He is the son of my close friend. The boy is very lively and cheerful. He studies with my son. About 10-5 days ago he had a headache. He also had a mild fever. Medicine was brought from the local pharmacy for fever. He is taking medicine but his fever is not going away. The child's physical condition started to weaken. He does not eat properly.
Even after eating, he vomits it. The boy who could not walk for a moment without playing or mischief is now often lethargic and lying in bed. My friend took him to a medical specialist. The doctor checked the child thoroughly and asked him to get several tests done. He got the test done at a famous diagnostic center and took the report to the doctor again. After seeing the report, the doctor's face turned black. He advised him to immediately contact the cancer hospital. After hearing the doctor's words, the child's mother became unconscious. My friend's throat became dry with fear. He could not even speak properly to the doctor. He also became almost mentally unbalanced.
They went to the cancer hospital together.There, they showed all the previous reports to the doctor and described the child's current physical condition. The doctor took the matter into deep consideration and asked for several more tests. This included an MRI.
Two days later, they went to the cancer hospital again with all the reports. After looking at all the reports, the doctor announced that the child had a brain tumor. The tumor was in such a place that it was not possible to cure it without surgery. But it was not possible to operate on such a young child. Because it is a very complex disease for such a young child and there is no possibility of the child dying on the operating table. The doctor also said that this rare type of tumor is not usually seen.
A board meeting was held with cancer specialists for two more days. There, a decision was made that even if surgery was not possible, efforts should be made to prevent the growth of the tumor.
For that, a special injection will have to be given. But that will be after several more tests. Today, as I am writing this, my friend has taken his son to the hospital. he is trying his best to get him well.
I don't know what the Almighty God is writing about the child's future? Will we be able to bring him back to us after he recovers? Or will our beloved eye leave us at such a young age and set foot on the way of the unknown?
I am asking all my Steemian friends through this contest to pray for this child. May the Almighty God return our child to us.
