One Picture and One Story #64

I have another story to share with you all today which is the 4th day of December. Everyone one of us have been patiently waiting for December to arrived and also for this year to come to an end. December finally came this Sunday and my elder brother and I knew we will be very busy on a day like this so we tried our best to manage our time properly that day.

That day was the last denary meeting of altar servers in my denary for the year and my brother and I didn't want to miss this meeting at all since is the last one for the year. Immediately we finished attending the mass in our own catholic church we headed straight to the catholic church that was hosting the meeting for that day. We went with 7 other boys who also had interest in the meeting.

Our journey to the place wasn't easy for us because of the high cost of transportation in my country currently, we even had to trek at some certain time so that our money for transportation won't finish. We finally arrived at the church and their mass haven't ended yet so we had to wait for it to end and we also joined the altar servers thanksgiving for that day, it was a massive one and alot of thanksgiving item was given to the Reverend fathers present that day.

The meeting started immediately after the mass ended and the vice president of our denary wasn't present that day, so the secretary and PRO had to preside the meeting together and our main president hasn't been in town for a very long period of time. It started with an opening prayer and opening remark then the secretary read out the minute of the previous meeting aloud fro everyone to listen to. I really love the fact that so many people were present in the meeting that day.

My elder brother is the second Provost in the denary and he had to do alot of work that day because the first provost didn't come on time. His work is to stand throughout the meeting and ensure that the entire place is quiet, he also ensures that everyone dresses properly and also pay their fine for not dressing properly.

Immediately after the meeting ended, refreshments was shared for everyone present before we all went home very tired. I trekked to our main junction with my brother and some of the boys before we finally entered Keke to our final destination.
