Uhh, talk about a bright colour that is warm and vibrant, a colour that shows energy, a colour that won't go unnoticed even in the dark. Oh yes that is the colour YELLOW.

What do you understand by the word Yellow?

The colour yellow is part of the basic/primary colour(red, yellow, and blue). It stands out as a warm colour and together with other colours like red and blue produce colours like orange and green respectively.

In nature, yellow stands out as a colour that represents energy and beauty. Imagine the sun, ⛅ in all its fullness, can you take your mind to its warmth and glamour. And how it sheds its yellow light giving you just that perfect picture you need. Don't forget the ever sweet bright banana's, the yummy pineapples and unique sunflowers.

Speaking of friendship, why not give your partner or bestie a yellow rose as a gift to show how friendly and warm you see him/her as.

Do you know that in some cultures in countries like India and China, the collour yellow means lot. For example it reflects prosperity in China and spirituality in India.

Also as a graphic designer, I won't fail to use yellow for any flyer, or promotional graphics which has a demand on customers attention.

What if plants were colored yellow and not green?

Hmm!! vivid imagination. I have to give it to @saintkelvin17 for this one.

Frankly, if plants were yellow and not green they would be beautiful as flowers, ripe and appetising as fruits and sickly as vegetables.

Oh wow, I am glad you invited me to this yellowful contest, I love the colour yellow too even though I don't wear it often. I don't think STYLE ME : a television program in AKBC will recommend it for me because of my complexion. Yellow signifies warmth, beauty that point you made clearly. A yellow flower could be an alternative for a red rose because it connotes a different meaning. I have a pressing question, If the chlorophyll gives plant the green pigment, what gives the flower in the plant different pigment like yellow, red, purple etc

🙄....@nsijoro.

Does that AKBC programme still exist?....
Plus you would look amazing in yellow. Don't let anyone whine you 😁

I pray I do

As for your question.
I want you to know that it's not just the chlorophyll that's responsible for plants pigmentation. We have others like the carotenoids which gives yellow, orange and brown colours to your carrots, sunflowers etc
Hope you understand?

I think I am beginning to learn fast, you should be a biology teacher, it seems you know much about biology. So you mean carotenoid gives carrot it pigment, it seems the name is very much related to carrot, can we are say the same carotenoid give pawpaw the orange on the inside and green on the outside when it is not completely ripe

Well you're on track 😁
