What type of friends do you keep and who are the people that you call your friends a friend of mine who we have been together for 15 years was narrating to me what took place between her and her childhood friend She so trusted the childhood friend that's entrusted everything she has into the friend care and that friend took advantage of her
In her story, she said that When I traveled out of town Agatha came with tears in her eyes pleading for help that her mother needed money for an operation and she took pity on her and handed over her ATM card to her, that she should use the money there because she don't have cash right now and Agatha left with the ATM card and Veronica was called for an urgent meeting in Lagos and she couldn't collect her ATM
Due to the nature of her work, there was an extension for two months she informed the friend to keep her ATM safe because she cannot receive an alert the free and now uses advantage of that opportunity to transfer all the money to her account when my friend return and ask for her ATM her friend starts crying that the ATM card went missing and the first hit their heart that don't worry I'll go to the bank and get a new one no need to cry
Little did she know that her account was empty she was given the shocking news of her life when she discovered that there was no penny in her account and all the transactions that had been carried out into her friend's account she was unconscious for a day because she couldn't believe that her trusted friend could do such to her after the kindness that she shown her
When she was confronted She cried that it was the hard work of the devil that her boyfriend gave her this deadly advice and she executed alongside her boyfriend they shared the money equally and the boyfriend left town for her to face the consequences alone even the mother that she claims to be sick was all a fake to sort money from her friend
Let us all be careful of who we call our friends because the closest people to your heart are the one that kills you easily because they know all your secrets and killing you to keep it to themselves is never a problem human beings are full of surprises
Moral lesson
I learned to be mindful of the secret I share with people around me because it's only God who reads the minds of people human beings are extraordinarily wicked
I also learned to be cautious of who I love and being close to my heart because those people that you showed love and kindness and the one that stabbed from behind
Some kindness shows should have limitations because it's only backfiring on the helper at the end of the day
