“One picture And One Story Week #69”.

Hello @everyone accept special greetings from this end of globe, to precise Cameroon .Its a great pleasure participating in this week contest in steem for Pakistan community titled “One picture and one story week”. We always have a lot of activities carried out during day .But some are worth memorable with good impact in our life’s .Just with pictures we got a lot to explain .

My picture I will share with you guys is about first school day of resumption in Cameroon 07/01/2025 after,Christmas and How my first day in school at the university looked like .To precise Northwest region of Cameroon . Schools has resumed in other areas of my country on Monday 06/01/2025.But due to the Anglophone crises affecting the the north and southwest region of Cameroon . Where there is socioeconomic and political tension between the separatist fighters .Who claim they want take power from the government and managed .

As a seperate entity claiming for the government to grant independence .This because they feel they are marginalized by the government from the majority of franchone regions .It should be noted that Cameroon is a bilingual country made of 10regions . Two regions are the Anglophone section that North and southwest region of Cameroon.While the rest are Franchophone regions.

This Anglophone crisis has existed for about 8years ,still going on .A lot of fighting between the separatists fighters and military government .Has been taking place in these two regions .A lot of innocent civilians more than 10000 people have been killed and a lot of atrocities committed by both camps . For the past 8years all Mondays has been declared ghost by the separatists fighters .People stay indoors with going to school , carrying out activities.Offices and busines place shut down .

These two part of regions north and southwest of Cameroon start functioning only on every Tuesdays to Sundays .Normally the school official school resumption was signed by the ministers of education on 06/01/2025.Which falls on Monday .The two part of regions in Cameroon affected with the crisis instead reopened on the 07/01/2025.Due to ghost town imposed by separatist fighters on Mondays .

Therefore, 07/01/2025 was the school resumption day for second term in primary and school .While for me in the university is still first semester school reopened after Christmas break . I was ready and determined to start my school today as we already have courses programmed for today .

As early as possible I struggled to get a car to the university campus .University of Bamenda where we had classes .For the beginning of school resumption after short break.The first day classes went on well in school and I most say I enjoyed all the classes I had during the day with various lecturers .Hoping for more better and fruitful days while we write exams .
