Hello friends, welcome to my blog as I carry you along with my meal for the day. It is said that your meal determines how functional you will be, and eating your meal at the right time plays a vital role, too.

Breakfast

The first meal of the day is a good meal to start up your day after a long night.
It's a holiday, and the kids do not wake up too early for school, and I don't have to wake up too early either to prepare breakfast. But today, I have to wake up a bit early and start breakfast preparation because I have to prepare beans for breakfast, which will take a little longer to cook. So I prepared porridge beans and pap for breakfast which came out a delicious combination.

The breakfast was satisfying and the right choice for the repair of worn-out cells which is one of the benefits of eating beans.

Snack

At noon, I had a snack in between breakfast and lunch; having toddlers at home who deplete their energy while playing and need to refill made us have a snack to hold on to before lunchtime. So we snack on Chinchin. Which was a good energy supply in the meantime.

Lunch

Lunchtime is another important meal of the day to refill lost energy and remain active

I had Gari Swallow and Ogbono soup, it was a good pair for lunch. The Gari swallow is a starchy and heavy food which is good for the afternoon as we are still active. It breaks down and digests while we are actively busy, and the nutritious ogbono soup, which has healthy fat, protein and vitamins, was a good pair.

Dinner

This is as known as the end of the day's meal which is better to be light for easy digestion before bedtime to have better sleep and relaxation

After the day's activity, I had bananas and groundnuts for dinner; that was what I felt like eating as I wasn't too hungry. I ate it and was full and that was all for the day
