Hello friends in the world, it is delightful to share with you all my content readers and I want to say a big thanks to you all for such a warm visit. I am about to share my idea on the above topic which is about that traditional meal I cook during Christmas. Thanks to the steemit team and the Steem Iron Chef for the topic and I will write as I follow the contest rule below, keep reading down friends, and you will find it interesting reading.

In the whole 365 days which make a year, Christmas is the most exciting celebration ever. There are Christians in almost all parts of the world so when I refer to the world I mean the whole Christian world celebrates Christmas despite some Christians do not believe in Christmas but in their minds I know they are happy for the day too🤣

Christmas is a celebration day, it's a day we live to remember the birth of Jesus Christ the aon of the living God. Through the virgin Mary who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and as God has planned it, she delivered the child conceived by the Holy Spirit on the 25th of December. There is also a little argument about the date but presently, the 25th of every December is the day we celebrate in remembrance of Christ's birth.

On Christmas day, we celebrate and the celebration has to do with buying gifts aside from that, we also have different variety of food in the house. My father makes sure there are different varieties of meats that day so,I will be sharing about the foods we eat that day and their recipes because most times I partake in the cooking unless I am not around or I go for plaiting my hair in preparation for that day.

The Christmas meal in my home

Apart from weddings or other occasions, Christmas is a day when in my house, we have different variety of foods in the house. Traditional foods are also prepared that day, my father would always prefer to eat the traditional food on that day but for myself, I love eating chicken and salad accompanied by minerals not just anyhow minerals but specifically Sprite. Everyone has his or her favorite so my dad makes sure he provides all.

The traditional food we prepare that day is swallow. My father loves eating swallow so we make sure it is available too. Rice and stew is our every year meal apart from the swallow, we also make salad available to be eaten with meat, it tastes sweet and enjoyable. We prefer making stew because we cook it in large quantities, therefore, we reserve it in the fridge for days and we keep boiling rice every day.

Rice and stew preparation

<div class='text-juswhich The rice is prepared differently so also the soup which is the stew and that is why it is called white rice because the rice is prepared just white and the soup differently. For the stew, I first grind the tomatoes, ginger, and garlic together in the engine or I use my blender to blend. I allow it to boil until that water gets drained from the pot and next I fry onions in the vegetable oil, next, I fry the tomatoes as well then I mix the meat stock, mix all the ingredients and allow it to boil until the vegetable oil comes up with bubbes which is a sign that it is done.

Chin-chin preparation

This is simple as well, first, I sieve the flour in case of any specks of dirt, next, I mix all the powdered ingredients and mix well, I dilute my sugar and I mix the egg, the milk, and the flavor. Lastly, I turn the diluted sugar into the flour and mix them fry.

In conclusion, thank you all for reading through my post, and I hope you enjoyed reading it. I want to specially invite @preey2, @ajrgena, and @ebeke to participate in the contest.
