Happy to join this contest with other great chef to share my own opinion on a contest and how I will participate.

I will like to write on recipe

I choose recipe because different people have their own different way of cooking a particular meal and as such it is always good to learn from others recipe.

At least to cook something different from your usual way of cooking so when it comes to cooking, so many people do pay tutorial classes for it, but all thanks to steemit because we all learn different recipe free of charge here so that is one of the reason I choose this topic so I can share my own recipe so others can learn.

So my topic goes this way; Not the regular recipe

TIPS

  • It should be something special, not the regular recipe

  • Why do you choose this recipe?

  • Share your ingredients recipe and your step by step preparation.

  • Be creative as well.

NOT THE REGULAR RECIPE

You know locally we have different food varieties even here in my country Nigeria we have varieties of foods and then we also have different ways of cooking them each tribe have their own recipe.

Even each home have their own recipe so mine may be different from yours & yours may be different from mine but then it is food, it has different taste. So likely, I know others will like to give it a try and so during this contest I take time to prepare a special recipe of my local food I know my country people will appreciate the recipe.

So therefore this recipe it's not common it is uncommon recipe so follow along as I show you how to prepare ABAK EDITAN

STEP BY STEP PREPARATION

Cut and wash editan leaf, the leaf has a little bitter taste so you wash the bitter taste out

IMG_20240309_195012.jpg

Cook and pound your palm fruit, separating the kernel from the chaff

IMG_20240309_202801.jpg

Add water to extract the paste and sieve the paste out from the chaff and kernel, then put your abak aside

IMG_20240309_200218.jpg

Add your meat and stockfish to pot, add ingredients then cook till soft and chewable

IMG_20240309_203634.jpg

Add salt and some seasoning cubes and crayfish then cover your pot and cook for some minutes so the water will boil and the ingredients will make the soup tasty

Wonderful recipes. This is different from the usual recipes I used to know. I didn't know abak and waterleave can be used at the same time to cook editan soup. Your soup looks yummy, I will try this recipe. I wosh you success in the contest.

Oh thank you so much, the waterleaf should be small not much. Try it and you will like it.thank you for visiting my post.

How are you? I hope you are well. I was very surprised to see your recipe because you have prepared the food in a very different way. Yes, I know that there are different types of food in your country. are made but here in Pakistan we don't eat such food at all, here we make Islamic traditional boxes, which are kept in our Islam, only those foods we eat, other than that, we don't have to eat any food. Not allowed. Hope others will like your recipe. Keep sharing your recipe with us. May Allah take care of you. Best wishes 😍
