You know one of the things I love most about my state Akwa Ibom is that we have so many recipes and a variety of foods. Our meals are not only delicious but healthful! Today I will introduce you to one of our recipes ~ Cocoyam porridge.
THE MAIN INGREDIENT FOR THIS MEAL INCLUDE:

LET'S GET TO COOKING!
- Wash and seasoning your meat.
- Peel the Cocoyam wash it and cook.
- Pound your shrimps 🦐 bonga fish and pepper and pour into your pot, add seasoning cubes and salt, add palm oil, cook meat and PERIWINKLES and turn everything.
- When the Cocoyam is soft. Take some pounds and pour it back into the pot to make a puree.
- Wash your Vegetables and onions chop them and add to the pot
- Allow the food to simmer for a few minutes.
Cocoyam is full of both micro/macronutrients, vitamins, protein, and low carb, And it is very low in calories and has no cholesterol. The food is so good and we have so many methods of preparing it, and I'm just showing you one of the ways. You need to give this food a try and I bet you will be glad you do! This is so rich, healthy and looking delicious. Your recipe of the day is really unique from the usual recipes and I have learned from each step presented here.
I always imagine cocoyam porridge to be ekpang nkukwo that's why I prefer making pepper soup cocoyam instead which I enjoy so much.
