As soon as I saw this contest, I thought to participate in this contest and share my favorite chicken vegetable samosa recipe with everyone .So let's start.
Chicken Vegetable Samosa :
So to participate in this contest, I am going to share the recipe for Chicken Vegetable Samosa with you all. These Samosa are special to me because they remind me of my childhood and the joy of sharing delicious food during Ramzan. I learned to make the samosa from my khala and I love following her recipe.
It's a process that requires care and attention from making the outer layer of the samosa crispy and filling flavours with chicken and veggies and spices. And during Ramzan in my country, samosa's are a popular snake for breaking the fast. It's not just about the taste, it's about keeping traditions alive and enjoying good food together during this special ramazan time.
Ingredients I used :
Here are the ingredients that I use in preparing this :
Ingredients | Quantity |

Chicken | 1 kg |
Cabbage | 1/2kg |
Capsicum | 1/2kg |
Oil | for frying |
Chilli powder /flakes | 1tsp |
Salt | as per taste |
Cumin seeds | 1/2tsp |
Coriander seeds | 1/2tsp |
Green chili | 2-3 |
Chilli sauce | 3 tsp |
Soya sauce | 3 tsp |
Vinegar | 3 tsp |
Briefly explaining the recipe.
First I cut the vegetables into small pieces and I cleaned the chicken well and when the water got dry, I boiled it in a pot with water and salt and when the chicken was boiled, I cut it into small strips and kept it aside.
Then I first took a pan and put oil in it. When the oil was hot, I put chicken in it and fried the chicken. When it started smoking, I put spices in ii that I have mentioned above.
Along with that I added soy sauce and after that I added chili sauce and vinegar, it removes the smell from the chicken and makes it spicy, after that I added black pepper.
After that, I fried the chicken for a while and cooked it on low heat so that all the spices were fried well.Then I added chopped capsicum and fried it on low heat.
After that I put it on low flame and cover it so that it gets fried well then I add chopped cabbage and mix all the mixture.
After that I kept this mixture on low flame so that all the spices cook well and mix in and get a good flavor and after a while I turned off the stove and took it off. Samosa filling is ready
I had already bought the samosa dough from the market and prepared it. We can make it at home too, but during the days of Ramzan I ordered it from the market. After that, I took out the samosa patti and shaped it into a samosa and put the masala filling inside it and covered it well.
Then I took oil in a wok and let it heat up. When it got hot, I put my samosas in it to fry and as soon as the samosas turned brown, I took them out.
So this is how my delicious chicken vegetable samosas are ready, we can eat them with green chutney or tamarind chutney or ketchup and they are very crispy and delicious.
