HELLO friends and gentlemen of the Ironchef community
This is my first post with you in this group. And it is a sweet called GAZELLE HORN
It is a very popular sweet in North African countries. It is considered one of the finest sweets, and the most important ingredient in it is the crushed reddish almonds.
INGREDIENTS
For the dough:
250g of flour
2 tbsp. tablespoons orange blossom water
1/2 tsp. salt
50g butter
10 to 12 cl of water
For the almond stuffing:
650g Fried and ground almonds
1 C. cinnamon
2 tbsp. tablespoons orange blossom water
3 pinches of crushed mastic with a little sugar (gum arabic)
