Greetings,
During our dinner last night my aunt asked to have tilapia. We don't usually eat this fish because it has a muddy taste. But it's been a long time since I ate this fish. It's time to taste it again and I decided to make my Fried Tilapia With Sauteed Vegetables.
Ingredients:
1 medium size tilapia
3 tomatoes
3 bell peppers
5 green chilis
Ginger
Onions
Garlic
Calamansi
Oyster sauce
Magic Seasoning
Cooking Oil
1/4 cup of water
Procedure:
- Clean the tilapia and and marinate with calamansi and magic seasoning for 15 minutes. After let it dry with paper towel.
- Prepare and slice the vegetables.
- Heat oil in a pan and fried the tilapia after put in a plate. In the same pan saute first the onions and garlic until you can smell it's aroma. Then the rest of the vegetables. Saute for 5 minutes then add water and oyster sauce and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Top the fish with the cooked vegetables and done.
My aunt's cravings for the tilapia was satisfied with my simple, fast, and easy recipe. The was good and delicious and doesn't smells mud at all.
In the Philippines the prize per kilo of tilapia is 200 pesos (22.60 STEEM). The is expensive compare to the cheapest fish sardines 80 per kilos (9.04STEEM).
