Greetings IronChefs,

It's week and and another Recipe Of The Day. Let me share to my String Beans Recipe. This vegetable is commonly called sitaw in the Philippines. It can be grown in any locations with full of sunlight. String beans is sold for 50 pesos per kilo (3.27 STEEM).It's cheaper compared to other vegetables.

Ingredients:

1/2 kilo string beans
1/4 kilos chicken chopped
1 onion
1 garlic
2 tablespoon cooking oil
Oyster sauce
Soy sauce

Procedure:

  • 1.Prepare all the ingredients. Remove the edge of the string beans and cut about 6 cm long.
  • 2.Heat oil in a pan . Stir fry the chopped chicken . Add the sliced garlic and onions. Season with soy sauce then put in a separate bowl.

  • 3.In the same pan and add the cut string beans. Add the 3 tablespoons of water and cover for 3-5 minutes.

  • 4.After add the stir fried ingredients. Mix all the ingredients. Add oyster sauce and soy sauce to taste and done.

I cooked my Sauteed String Beans for about 30 minutes and made 5- 6 servings. It was delicious and crispy.

I paired it with rice but my uncle didn't eat it because he has arthritis. This was my recipe and I hope you love it.
