This Gala Gala is similar to "Diamond cuts" only difference is diamond cuts are soaks with sugar syrup after frying but in this we added sugar AND initially with dough.

INGREDIENTS

💚 All purpose flour 💚 Sugar 💚 Sesame seeds 💚 Salt 💚 Oil 💚 Butter 💚 Edible camphor

Step1 :

Take 500 gm of All purpose flour in a bowl, add 2 cups of sugar and required amount of salt . Add a cup of water and mix them well to make dough add Butter, Edible camphor and Sesame seeds while kneading the dough. Keep the dough in a bowl grease it with butter and cover it wet cloths for an hour to set

Step 2 :

After an hour later take the dough in a plate shower dome flour on it and take hand full of dough and toll it with your palms to make ball. Take the roti roller , roll and spread the ball with the roti roller.

Step 3 :

Take a knife or pizza cutter cut the spread dough diagonally to make diamond shapes as shown in the picture

Step 4 :

Put a pan of flame, pour oil to heat, and and put the diamond slices into the oil to Once the pieces become bulged, turn them to another side to cook well with low flame

When the pieces become golden brown in color and the aroma came out take them oil and put them in a bowl.

Now the crispy Gala Gala is ready. keep it in a tight container it can be east up to 15 days since we added butter and edible camphor which preserve the food up to 20 days.

Great recipe, in our country it is called 'nimki' but it is usually made both sweet and salty. The specialty of gala gala is that sugar is mixed with flour which makes the taste more interesting. Great presentation and nice pictures. 🤗
