Once again my warmest greetings to all chefs in the world of Steemit.
Food is life! That's why we never get tired looking what we like to eat. Like me I love appetizers like vegetable salad we called it locally "kinilaw."
Today I wanna share with you my assorted kinilaw vegetables. It is compose of sweet potato young leaves, okra, and cucumber.
Simply boiled it slightly but not too long just enough that the vegetable soften. I sliced the cocumber without peeling the skin because i feel like it is more crunchy and tasty biting with it's skin. Also add spices like onions and tomatoes and sili espada and of course the major ingredients of kinilaw is the hot vinegar. Add salt and season it with ajinomoto to make it more tastier.
I also prepared another sauce for the cucumber to dip and increase the appetite. It's so tempting to eat a lot and fulled. I enjoy my meal and satisfies my cravings.
Though I eat a lot but it's worry free because all are vegetables and it's loaded with vitamins that our body needs.
There are many ways to satisfy our cravings. But we will make sure that it's healthy and nutritious and that all matters.
