Hi, dear SIC fellows!

Today I'm happy to join the New Weekly Dynamic in the Steemit Iron Chef, Community with these delicious roasted chicken we ate today at the food fair in Traki. Today is Tuesday, and the topics our dear @elianisa09 will be checking are #sicfish and #sicmeats.

We bought roasted chicken today. We ordered take out. It was a combo, and so sides were included.

Sides included boiled cornmeal buns, boiled yucca, fried arepitas, salad and guasacaca. I had salad and fried arepitas to complement my meal.

The salad was sweet. It had grated cabbage, red and green; grated carrots, mayo, vinegar, salt, and sugar. It was just a little in comparison with the rest of the sides, which were enough for 4 people. Salad was not enough for a single customer, but we're just to seeing this traditionally when buying roasted chicken and sides.

Well, little and all, the micro-serving of salad was good. It tasted fresh and flavorful. They were a perfect companion for my fried arepitas; this is a combination I love.

The guasacaca had been prepared with mayo and herbs. I got to taste parsley, vinegar, and garlic in it.

This roasted chicken was tender and juicy but well cooked. Hallelujah!

It is not uncommon for rotisserie chicken to be half cooked, which I don't like at all when it comes to such delicate meat as chicken. I like my chicken well cooked and this one was. At the same time, it had a thin crispy layer where the aroma of the roasting embers was concentrated. A delight! And what's more, it looked very good.

You can buy this delicious roasted chicken in my hometown, Cumaná, at Roast Chicken in Traki. Their prices are absolutely affordable and even though they have lots of costumers, they won't keep you waiting.
