Favourite Indian Dish Paneer Butter Masala or Indian Cottage cheese ๐Ÿ›๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅ˜๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿคค

Hello everyone this is Monz from India hope you are doing great and enjoying your days happily. Keeping yourself busy with work makes me happy as I have no time to think anything else.

So today as this is my first post on this community I will be sharing a recipe called paneer butter masala, paneer is also known as Indian cottage cheese and indeed is one of the most favourite dish of every vegetarian or even non vegetarians.

For this paneer we require some of the spices which I will be giving in detail the quantity and how to prepare so let's get started with the steps of this recipe.

Let's Make Indian Cottage cheese Gravy in our Kitchen Today.

200 gms Cottage cheese
10- 15 cloves garlic
Half inch ginger
2 bay leaves
2 big onions
4 tomatoes
10 cardamom + clove
1 tbsp spices

Step 1

Take the cottage cheese and chop it into pieces bigger or smaller according to your preference and then boil put the pieces into hot water for around 10-13 minutes to make them soft.

Step 2

Fry the cottage cheese in oil or butter until it turns golden brown. Once it is fried take it out from the pan and keep it aside. If you want to add some sour taste then you can marinate the cheese with pepper powder, 2 tbsp of lemon juice and then fry the cottage cheese.

Step 3

Take a grinder and make a thick paste of 2 onions, 4 tomatoes, 8-10 clove of garlic, 1 inch of ginger 2 green chillies, if you want to make it sweet you can add 10-15 cashews or skip the same.

Take a pan add two tbsp of oil and then add bay leaves chopped chillies crushed clove and cardamom and let them turn brownish. Once they turn brown add the puree and all the spices along with salt and chilli powder.

Stir fry the puree well until it leaves the oil and then finally add the fried cottage cheese so that it could mix well and add 2-3 pinch of sugar to make the gravy tasty. Then add 1 cup of water to the puree and butter paneer masala and cover the pan with a lid for 5-8 minutes so that it could be tasty.

Finally our Paneer Butter Masala is Ready to be served. Garnish it with coriander and kaju powder or if you want milk cream you can go for it. Do try the recipe and take the authentic taste of it.
