A warm greetings to everyone in this amazing Steemit Iron Chef community. I hope you're all doing great today. I'm here for this wonderful power up contest brought by @steemit-ironchef.

Steemit power up has actually helped to grow my steem power. All I have to do is put effort and get upvotes that pays out after 7days, it gets to my steem and then I convert it by powering up to be my steem power.

Steem power is actually saving my steem for future use. It can only be gotten when you power down and it takes approximately a month to be converted to steem for you to use.

Steps-by-step for powering up

• From my steem, I have 19.847steem and my steem power is 395.589, it's time to power up, what do is, I click on the arrow by the side of the steem amount.

• It will show options for you to pick from, depending on what you want to do, you can either transfer to another account, transfer to savings, power up, trade or market your steem. In this case, I'm powering up, so, I'll pick the power up.

• Once you choose the power up option, it will take you to a convert to steempower page, where you input the amount you want to power up. My amount is 19.847.

• Once you click ok, it'll take you to a confirm transfer to vesting page where you'll see your amount and you'll input your memo too and click on okay.

• The next page you'll come across is a sign to complete transfer. Here, what's needed is your active or owner key to confirm the transaction is actually from you(being that the key is personal), you can opt to be kept logged in by clicking the box for it. Once you click the sign in sign below, your transaction is successful.
