It's raining Daily Food Shopping Game. Hello everyone. I hope you're all doing great. I'm here for this contest brought weekly by @crismenia.
Describe that place
This shop around my vicinity has got me smiling this morning. Other shops weren't open because they all went to church, but this shop was open.
This shop has no building, rather, it's built using wired metals and it's located by a police station. It has 2 cats that walk around to protect the shop from rats, but I didn't find them today.
This shop seems like a small super market, doesn't have lots of items but has enough items in different compartments. It has items ranging from sachet milk, Milo, tomatoes, spaghetti, biscuits, bread, tooth paste, indomie, chivuta juice, rice, beans, garri, etc. So practically it has a lot of items even though it looks scanty.
How often you usually shop there/highlight curiosities of the shop
I sometimes shop here, I would say I shop here three times in a week when I'm out of food item. I simply just dress and stroll down there to purchase my items.
I do most of my shopping here in the evenings and some Sunday mornings when other shops are closed.
Curiosities about this shop, they use flex to cover up the shop when they close for the day and they also have protector that they lock the shop.
Attention of the staff
The staffs here are Muslims and they are so friendly and playful. I know one of their name is Ibrahim and he's super nice. He pays attention to all his customers and doesn't fail to make you laugh. I also try to learn greetings in his dialect, but I still can't get it right, but I know I'll.
The staffs here do make you comfortable enough to purchase alot of items from here. They also gave me new years gift and I'm to give them back even though they don't want mine. They are good people to buy from.
Show what you purchased/ calculate the equivalent in Steem
The items I purchased are items I wanted using immediately this morning. I needed to make rice for breakfast.
Items | naira | steem |
---|---|---|
Rice | 1800 | 3.7 |
Egg | 500 | 1.3 |
Garri | 500 | 1.3 |
Onions | 200 | 0.7 |
Pepper | 200 | 0.7 |
Maggi | 200 | 0.7 |
Groundnut | 300 | 0.9 |
Making it a total of ₦3700 which is 9.3steem.
This shop is located in Ewet Housing Estate, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

The staff there have a good customer service skills.
One of the things that keeps customers returning to patronize a particular seller or vendor is based on how they were treated the last time.
And I'd like to assume they did that, and you may want to go back there to purchase things from them.
I wish you the very best in this contest.
Thanks for the invite as well.
