Recipe of the day, Week no 31 (White paneer gravy and Rumali roti)

Hope you are doing well.

So it's another sunday and here comes another healthy and tasty dish.
"Gravy white paneer served with rumali roti"

Ingredients for White Gravy Paneer:-
200 grams of paneer
50 grams of yogurt
4 to 5 cashews
5 to 6 black pepper
half a teaspoon of Kashmiri chili
salt according to taste
half a teaspoon of chat masala
one teaspoon of cornflour
two pinches of turmeric
two teaspoons of refined oil
2 to 3 teaspoons of curd

Steps for recipe of white gravy paneer

Step 1
Method of making gravy:- First of all, mix 50 grams of paneer and 50 grams of yogurt, black pepper, cashews and grind in a mixer to prepare a fine paste.

Step 2
Now cut 150 grams of paneer in square shape and keep it in a bowl, add one teaspoon of cornflour, salt according to taste, Kashmiri chili, chat masala and half a teaspoon of curd and knead it, keep it aside for 10 minutes.

Step 3
Now put the pan on the gas and pour one spoon of gravy mixture in it and stir it on low flame for 5 to 7 minutes, now cover this gravy and keep it aside.

Step 4
Now place the second pan on the gas and put a spoon of refined oil in it and spread it all around. Now cut the marinated paneer one piece by one and spread it in the frying pan and fry it a little.

Step 5
After that heat the gravy a little and take it out in a serving bowl. Now place the paneer pieces one by one on top of the gravy. White gravy paneer with coriander garnishing is ready. There is a different pleasure in eating it with Rumali Roti.

Ingredients for Rumali roti:

Two bowls of wheat flour
two spoons of refined flour
two pinches of salt
a pinch of baking powder
two spoons of milk
water, desi ghee

Steps for recipe of Rumal Roti

Step 1

Method of kneading the dough: Put two bowls of flour in a bowl, add two spoons of refined flour and two spoons of milk and add enough water so that the dough becomes perfect and does not get kneaded, add a pinch of salt and a pinch of baking soda and knead a dough a little tighter than normal and keep it aside for a while.

Step 2
After a while, knead the dough well and then make two small balls out of it. Now put some flour on the rolling board and roll both the balls of 4 inches each. Now take one spoon of ghee and spread it well on one roti.

Step 3
Then place the second roti on it and tap it lightly. Take some flour and roll it out to about 8 inches. While you are preparing roti, keep a non-stick pan on the gas so that it gets a little hot. Now put this 8 inch rolled roti on the pan.

Step 4
When one side is cooked, turn it over and then cook it a little from both sides. Your roti is cooked. Now take it down and keep it on a plate and separate it as shown in the picture. These rotis will be separated easily. Fold them into triangles and keep them in a handkerchief or a napkin. Your soft and healthy roti is ready.
