Today, again I am here to participate in the challenge announced this week POST LINK

Nowadays, most people follow a healthy diet, and today, I am here with a recipe that is healthy yet tasty and famous in South India.
The nutritious delicacy is equipped for breakfast.

The name I already shared in my title, yes, the name of the recipe is

Upma

So, those friends who follow a diet can try this recipe at home.

Ingredients:-

2-3 or as per your choice.


Preparation Method:-

Step 1:-
Place a wide mouth vessel on the medium flame. Then dry roast semolina until semolina becomes golden. Remember to stir continuously. Set aside in a bowl.

Step 2:-
Then in the same pan add rice bran oil. Once the oil becomes well heated, add dry chilies and cumin seeds and let the seeds crackle;
then add asafoetida and curry leaves.

Step 3:-
Saute for a second and then transfer;
chopped vegetables one after another into the pan. Lower the flame and cover the pan with a lid. After 5 minutes, remove the lid;
Then add peanuts and cashew nuts and combine all ingredients well.

Step 4:-
Next, add roasted semolina and again mixed semolina well with all ingredients well;
as you can see in the picture.

Step 5:-
Now add water (200ml). Then add salt and sugar and combine well. After 2-3 minutes;
taste the balance of salt and sugar(you can alter sugar with jaggery).

Step 6:-
Once semolina starts absorbing water, add clarified butter and keep persisting and stirring the upma.
Once the semolina starts getting separated from the pan, turn off the flame and transfer upma to the serving plate.

Step 7:-
Now your delicious upma is ready for your breakfast. If you are serving it to others,
then you can decorate with fresh curry leaves like in the picture.
