I am very happy to be here today for the fourth week of the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 22. I learned a lot about the delicious jam recipe, led by the beloved teacher of the Pastry Team, @lirvic and @dasudi . Despite being able to make this recipe in the past, today's class is very important for me. Now I am here to submit my homework.
Currently, I have a good experience in making jam. I have been making jam at home for five years. Making jam with the perfect chunky texture requires careful cooking. Making healthy and delicious jam with my own hands is very easy and enjoyable. With this, I can prepare my family's favorite jam in a clean environment and arrange it on the dining table. Jam is especially useful for our breakfast. And so I prepare jam with care.

- First, remove the orange seeds from the cleaned orange peel.

- Now, blend all the orange peels with the help of a blender and strain them.
- Now put the orange juice in a pot on the stove. Heat it on low heat. Stir continuously.
- If the juice starts to reduce, reduce the heat further. Otherwise, it may burn.
- Now stir lightly. At this stage, add sugar. You can add more or less sugar according to taste.
- Now add a spoonful of vinegar. You can use lemon juice here. If the juice thickens, stir repeatedly.
- When the juice thickens, stir well and remove from the stove.
- When it cools, pour the mixture into a dry glass container.
I have not faced any difficulty in making jam. I prepare jam with seasonal fruits at different times. You can call it my habit. Homemade jam made in a healthy and clean environment is an interesting dish in terms of taste.
🧾To retain the pieces of fruit and get a chunky texture, you must follow some tips.
Beautifully ripe, pure fruit is important for excellent color and good taste.
Remove the seeds of the orange and blend it well.
Cook the mixture on low heat. High heat is not acceptable in cooking jam.
You can use vinegar to get a chunky texture. This will prevent the jam from becoming sticky. Also, you can store it naturally for a long time without refrigeration.
Jam is a daily companion of a family in the children's tiffin for breakfast. In a hurry, a light breakfast can be made by spreading jam on bread. This is very beneficial for us. Apart from this, we often use jam as a filling in bread to make jam buns. It is always good. Its taste does not fade even if we eat it every day.
