I hope you all are good and enjoying your lives. Today I'm here to be a part of this amazing contest SEC | S16-W3: DesafΓ­o Culinario: Un Viaje de Sabores// Culinary Challenge: A Journey of Flavors.

Today I'm sharing Pakistan's Flavors in my kitchen. We are fasting now days ,our holy month of Ramadan is going on and Muslims from all over the world are fasting. Today i share a fritter from my aftar table ,i hope you like it.

Before starting today's recipe i would like to invite @aaliarubab, @uzma4882 and @sualeha for the contest.

Lets start contest

During Ramadan at aftar when we break our fast we made yummy recipes to enjoy this time. Some of these recipes are our cultural recipes. Pakory ,samosy ,fruit salad, dahi bondi these are common foods that you find in all most all home, at every gathering. I made all these food today and I'm sharing pictures of them.

Today's Food At Aftar

For todays contest I'm going to share recipe of Pakory. Its most important fritter at aftar ,my family love it very much . I made this recipe on daily basis throughout the Ramadan. Its very simple and delicious recipe.

Ingredient

Procedure

  • Take Gramflour and all spices together in a bowl and add water to make it smooth thick paste. Beat is nicely so all lumps of Gramflour dissolve.

  • Put mixture for 1-2 hour then deep fry mixture in small portion like any fritter. Fry them until golden-brown from both sides . Take out from oil and serve them hot with your favourite sauce.

  • For mixed veggies pakora we add all veggies in mixture during mixing, we make separate veggies pakora too ,they are delicious too. Sliced potatoes just dip in mixture and fry until golden brown. In the same way Spinach leaves dip in mixture and made pakora. You can make eggplant pakora in the same way. All pakora are delicious.

Cookingtime: 15min

We enjoy this yummy fritter with garlic sauce. Must try this you will like it.

Food as a culturalbridge

Food play vital role in our lives. There are many kinds of recipe of food that are made different from place to place . If we check cuisine of different countries their method is different from us . Street foods shows cultof that areas.

Im from Pakistan and our traditional food are Biryani, karhai, polao ,nihari ,kheer, sheerlhurma, kabab etc . I make foods by taking inspiration from others culture and that fusion make it more delicious for all of us. Im sure you all do like me ,we add or remove many ingredients that our family doesn't like and make it perfect for them.

My Today's recipe is also a traditional recipe of my country specially in Ramadan. So i shared its recipe here.
