Hey there, fellow seafood lovers!I am delighted to have the opportunity to participate in the esteemed "Delicacies of the Sea" contest. Those familiar with me are well aware of my deep passion for culinary experiences. From my guilty pleasures like junk food to my deep affection for seafood, I'm ready to dive into this delicious conversation. Seafood is my passion, and today I'll show you the ocean's wonders on my plate.
And guess what? My love for seafood is so deep that I wouldn't hesitate to challenge Aqua-man for his title. Yep, I've got the appetite of a shark with the manners of a well-behaved dolphin.

I love freshwater fish like Rui Fish (the "Carpo fish") and river Elisha , but seafood is my passion. I'm fascinated by aquatic life, from the mysterious octopus to the mischievous squid, the crabs with a bad attitude, the snappy snapper, the clever salmon, the revered tuna, beauty queen pomfret and the captivating prawns. Delicious and nutritious, seafood is a healthy food.

Well, if I had to choose, it will be Elisha from Padma River and obviously Salmon but I can not deny squid, Pomfret and sea prawn. There’s velvety texture and its ability to soak up flavors like a sponge make it a superstar. Whether it's grilled, baked, or sashimi-style in sushi, my heart belongs to perfectly cooked salmon. Plus, the bonus is that it's a health-conscious choice, thanks to those Omega-3 fatty acids.


Where do you usually buy fish in the supermarket, popular market, fish caves? Can you share with us the price of your last fish purchases in your country's currency and in steem?

My secret stash for fishy delights is the local supermarket. It's like a Disneyland for seafood enthusiasts. And let's not forget the seafood section, which is like ”Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory” for me. Prices can be as unpredictable as a teenager's mood swings, but in my last splurge, I snagged a couple of Elisha for around 2800 BDT. To translate that into the world of Steem, it's roughly 155 STEEM.

Ah, my piece de resistance – the Garlic Butter Lemon Salmon fry .For that I often go to a famous sea food restaurant "Fish &Co " in my country and Bengali -style Eilsha fish. It's a personal favorite, and I cook it more often than I should probably admit. It's quick, easy, and the taste? Explosive! Picture this: seasoned Elisha with a hint of salt, chili powder, turmeric powder and mustard oil and green chili. Then, in a pan, you put mustard oil, mix all the dry spices on the fish and fry them in hot oil until become golden brown and crispy .Now set with a bowl of hot rice, 2 pieces of Elisha fish fry and a green chili .Trust me, as a bangle I need not anything more .


Give us some recommendations to incorporate fish in our children's menu, since we know that fish is not one of their favorite foods when they are kids.

Turn fish into a fun adventure with fish sticks or fish tacos, complete with a buffet of toppings and sauces. Kids love to play chef and create their own culinary masterpieces. Encourage them to dip their fish in tantalizing tartar sauce or a mayo-based dip. And here's a pro tip: sneak fish into pasta dishes. Kids are often pasta enthusiasts, and adding bits of fish can make it more enticing.


Make fish look fun and appealing; you can even shape it into funky forms or use colorful veggies to create a fishy art piece. Finally, engage your children in the culinary process. When individuals participate in the meal preparation process, they may exhibit a greater inclination to sample the dish. Patience is key when introducing fish to kids. Over time, they might just start humming a sea shanty while digging into their fishy feast.
