Hello everyone, chef friends, back with me on this occasion I want to present a legendary dessert that comes from my area, which is very healthy and this is also one of my favorite desserts. This food is made from Sago rumbia. This dessert is very rarely found in my area, even some of the newest generation do not know this food because this food is indeed very rare, no one sells it like contemporary food.

but I always serve some traditional dishes for my family because I think traditional food is healthy food where this food does not contain a lot of preservatives, artificial sweeteners and flavorings so I really like to eat traditional food from my area, Here I will make this sago rumbia porridge, my favorite porridge, Here I will also share this sago rumbia porridge recipe



Ingredients:

100 grams of sago flour
200 ml of coconut water and coconut meat
300 ml of coconut milk
70 grams of palm sugar
7 tablespoons of granulated sugar
pandan leaves



How to make:



  • The first step is to heat 200ml of water, add pandan leaves, then after boiling, add sago rumbia by sprinkling it, add grated palm sugar, then stir until slightly thickened.

  • After that, add coconut water and coconut meat, then stir well and add coconut milk. Then add granulated sugar and stir well until the sugar dissolves, then add a little salt. Check the taste to see if it is right. If so, the sago rumbia porridge is ready to be served.
