Actually, this is my first time making this Afghan polaw, but previously I have also made biryani rice which I think is almost the same as making this Afghan polaw. Because this is my first time making this Afghan polaw rice, I feel a little bit before making this Pakistani dish, I have first read about all the various types of Afghan food so I already know a little about the various types of Pakistani dishes.
Cooking rice using broth in a pan is something new for me. Usually I often cook rice in a rice cooker and I also rarely cook rice with added beef, but this is an extraordinary experience and knowledge that I got in this course. It turns out that this is a very enjoyable cooking method.

In my area there is also a dish that is almost the same as this polow, which is fried rice with goat curry seasoning, this fried rice is rich in spices and also rich in seasoning and the addition of grilled meat which makes this goat fried rice at first glance look like this Afghan polow, but it's just that the goat curry seasoned fried rice here tastes a little spicier than polow

here I will make afghan polow, even though it was the first time I made it, I liked the results and I think this polow is a delicious dish.
300 grams of rice
100 grams of beef
30 grams of peanuts
2 cloves of shallots
2 cloves of garlic
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp salt
curry leaves
- The first step is to marinate the beef first with lemon water and salt, let it sit for 3 minutes.

- After that I prepared a frying pan and added a little oil, then I sautéed the shallots, garlic and curry leaves until wilted, then I added the beef and coriander powder and cumin and a little salt.

- then I added 500ml of water after that I cooked it until it was slightly cooked then I added the rice that had been washed clean after that I cooked it with the beef broth until the rice expanded slightly

- then I fried the peanuts and sauteed the carrots with 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar after that I added it to the rice that I was cooking and some additional green chilies after that I covered it and cooked it for about 20 minutes until the rice was cooked
