First day of high school
It was the first semester for us 100 level students..
"She seem to be friendly" I thought to myself, the thought of the most attractive girl in the class was in possession of my note was pleasing, I went back home clouded in the memories of her smile...

Prom night
Months passed and we were already best of friends, she called me one evening to come keep her company because her boyfriend had just broke up with her.
walking up the stairs, I could see the beautiful angle I was shy to tell about my feelings, she wore a red dress and let her hair down, she was crying, I can't still tell her now after all I'm here to keep her company, to be the shoulder she can cry on.... She told me about everything that transpired in her relationship, all I could do was console her as the friend I am....

Wedding day
Many months has passed and I was sitting here and looking at this card, it was a wedding invitation from the love of my life... She was inviting me to come cheer her up as she embarks on her new journey, it was hurting but there was nothing I could do...
I watched as they exchanged vows and rings till death do them parts... I got home crying it was a terrible day..

Her Funeral
Many years went by and I was called to mourn the love of my life, she had died from a heart failure....
I stood in front of her liveless body with regrets wishing I had said something even once.. I cried my eyes out... It was time when her diary was to be read... It read thus..
"I sat down imagining how I could be around such a handsome, thoughtful and decent guy and all we can be is friends, he always has that soft spot for me and is there when I need him, he was my perfect ideal man... I wanted him to know how much I loved him but I didn't think he felt same way, I didn't want to ruin our beautiful friendship ...
