Introduction

It's another wonderful opportunity to participate in yet another engagement challenge for the week. For today, it's going to be about my family on Steemit which comprises the great people I have met over time and who have adequately contributed to my growth on the platform. I have an interesting piece to share with you today.

My Steemians Family

I have a beautiful family on Steemit chosen from how I got to the platform, those I have enjoyed their support and even worked with over time. I would limit this to people I have connected with via Steemit, most of my recruits are people I have known before (some are inactive users), I won't add them to list today.

My Steemit family has been streamlined to 5 individuals, even though the number is bigger than that but due to some reasons (inactivity and others), I would only discuss 5. Note that: Their pictures are directly from their profiles or articles. Let's go!

This user is the first person that came to my mind when I saw this topic, why? My journey on Steemit started through him, he recruited me on the day we met as strangers on a crypto group last year. I have known him for about 1 year and 9 months as of the time of writing this article.

He's a hardworking and committed Steemian who has always made himself available to teach or learn from others and he (@mato445) has a good heart that accommodates people in the quest to render assistance within his capacity. We have always been in the discussion via WhatsApp even though we are yet to see in person after the long months we had known each other.

One thing that has kept us together for long, to have discussions once in a while is Steemit. I believe if he had not discussed Steemit with me the day we met, we might have lost contact. He's a great guy and I can call him a brother.

This is one of the great Nigerian guys I met when I came to Steemit. She was an active country representative when I came in, a promoter/mentor in a community owned by a Nigerian at that moment, and now a defunct community. I have known her as early as my first day on Steemit because I was signed up under the aforementioned community back then.

Being hardworking would be an understatement, she's an amazing woman altogether who looks after her people and encourages everyone to keep going with the assurance that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Even though we weren't close during those early days of my journey on Steemit yet I can feel her impact in the community back then.

She (@ngoenyi) has contributed immensely to the growth of Steemit in this part of the world and remains a role model to many Nigerians out there. So many amazing things to share here. We have been in communication through WhatsApp, Discord and Phone calls, Oh! She's the one I have had most voice calls with among Steemians.

We have been a co-founder of the Steem4Nigeria community and that has made our contacts to be more frequent. I have not seen her in person before although I felt a physical meet up would have connected us in person but due to the rise of insecurity in the country, I don't think that is possible yet considering we are quite dwelling at distant states from each other (about 606 km). She's an amazing woman and I can call her mom.

The first time I met this special Steemit family member should be around 1 year and 8 months ago. He's been an awesome writer in the crypto Academy, he was not part of the first set of professors recruiter back then but his work speaks volumes. If I could remember vividly during the time of second recruitment of professors, he was asked by one of the top accounts on his article if he had thought of applying for the role of a crypto professor, that tells a huge story.

During those days, we weren't close but I do see greatness in his articles, I guess he joined the Academy as a professor during the second season. I wasn't surprised when I saw his name as one of the newly recruited professors, he's worth it. I learned from his lectures during those days yet we weren't close, lol.

We became closer when I became a professor at the Academy and paired with him. He's one of the most excellent, diligent, and respected people I have met on the platform. The Crypto Academy and community curator team has kept us closer as we have done great things together. We have been in frequent contact via Discord, we have not met before but I hope we do someday.

He's a senior colleague and I can call him an elder brother to me. He's an excellent being.

This is another amazing user that I have chosen to be part of my Steemit family, the way I met him was a bit related to that of the narration made on Kouba's. I have known this man, @pelon53, for more than 1 year now and I can say, it all started when the Academy was created. He became one of my teachers and later a senior colleague.

Pelon is a man of God, not only by bearing but with his deeds. He has been an attentive and calm person and I have not for once noticed a sign of anger in any of his words.

We have developed a strong relationship this far due to our role as crypto professors who were responsible for the creation of lectures and reviewing homework entries many months ago, we are just three left out of those that have worked in the role during those days. Me, @pelon53 and @kouba01.

The community curator project strengthens our relationship as we also worked together in that realm for months, he's an amazing man and full of compassion. We have been in contact via Discord and haven't seen him in person but I would love to meet him. I can boldly call him my father, he's a father figure to me.

This is another amazing member of my Steemit family, a man full of quality and excellence. His writing and interpersonal relation prowess are on another level. I have known him for so long, we were together as members of that defunct community at that time and he was a very active user.

He's a hardworking and highly intelligent person who also dedicated his time to creating quality content back then in the Academy, we have been in contact since those days sharing and solving problems together. He's one of the people that found value in me and has always encouraged me to keep pushing during those days. He supported and encouraged me to put up applications to become a crypto professor back then because he believed I can.

We are currently co-founders of the Steem4Nigeria community and have been in contact via WhatsApp, we have not seen each other in person but it would be amazing meeting him someday. An amazing person that is worth a family and I can call him my elder brother.

Steem on!

Thanks for stopping by, @growwithsteem.

Being a part of your Steemain family is truly an honor; there was a purpose behind how we met. My crypto life and journey have been greatly improved and influenced by knowing you. You introduced me to Binance back when I was having trouble trading cryptocurrency, and you even went on to explain how to buy, sell, and interact with the exchange.

You've always been a brilliant man, on and off the chain, and I'm delighted that you're making progress on Steemit. Keep Steeming brr 💯❤️

You are an amazing guy and I wish you the best life has to offer. Thanks for your time on this, @mato445.

Mengenal berbagai karakter steemian saling di steemit dan saling berbagi inspirasi adalah hal yang membahagiakan.. sukses untuk mu teman..

Hi @fredquantum, I have carefully read your post and I am touched by your great sensitivity for those people with whom you share on Steemit with whom you have created an important fraternal bond. The fact of mentioning them is a recognition of that feeling of friendship for brother, mother, father and older siblings, because each of them has contributed knowledge and help when you have needed it most, without selfishness, without expecting anything in return. Thank you for sharing your experience and letting us know about some of these users that I did not know and who enjoy your full appreciation. I wish you a happy day and good luck in this contest.
