Hello friends 🌹, I hope you're all well. I'm happy to be writing in this second week of season 10 engagement challenge. And for today I'll talk about my languages

How many languages do you speak? Which of them are your native languages and which ones have you studied?

I speak three basic languages, and they are English and Igbo. I also speak the pidgin or broken English of Nigeria. Everyone in Nigeria knows how to speak English and pidgin english and one native language.
For me, my native language is Igbo language, and in school they use English to teach us so we learn a lot of English in school, also because it's commonly spoken everywhere in the country it's easy to learn.

I have also had the experience of being able to speak french, because once I had to travel to Cameroon and there the french was spoken and I learnt a lot how to speak it, although by now I have forgotten many things since I cane back due to lack of practice.

What methods have you used to learn other languages?

For now I'm no longer interested in learning new languages as I'm getting old and I have many other things to concentrate on.
But when I was in Cameroon my method of learning was speaking to the natives and they helped me to translate a lot, I would ask them the meaning of what they say and they tell me so little by little I was learning a lot of French.

In addition to the ones you already speak, what other language would you like to learn?

If one day I would want to learn another language, it would be Spanish, I want to learn it because my daughter madilyn is very interested in it too, and she seems happy learning it, and when she comes to tell me the new words she learns I'm very happy for her

If I also have the opportunity again I would learn the french again because I think I've forgotten a lot and the language is really nice.

What do you consider to be the most difficult thing about learning another language?

For me when I was learning french the most difficult thing was knowing how to organize sentences in the right way. Most times when I try I usually get it wrong but slightly correct so I always have someone to guide me well.

Why do you think it is important to master several languages?

Learning several languages os good because it can help us to make friends easily, fir example if there is a foreign resident in our country, if we know a little or much of the person's language it will be easier for us to make friends with them.

This is a very nice contest that I'm happy to participate in. I invite @adinduglory, @graceleon, @inspiracion to participate in the contest

Saludos y suerte!

Hello thank you for the nice offer, I think I'm getting too old to learn a new language. You should teach my daughter madilyn she's putting much effort to learn it and I hope she can learn it very well

Saludos amigo

Hello yes it's true knowing more than one language is a good thing. Thanks foe your visit and nicw comment

Greetings mum, I truly wish you can still speak french so I can learn from you because one I will have to travel to any french speaking country and I will also take you with me but that will be when the almighty blesses us.

Good luck mum in this contest and thank you for inviting me

My dear, french is a very nice language and if you try its easy to learn. I wish you the very best and will like to go with you to that french speaking country

While learning a language you have to be absolutely correct in following every grammar rule And if you can't say the 'noun' or the 'article' of the noun correctly, there is no danger of any big loss So try to speak the language.i wish you my best

That's very true. Thank you so much
