SEC - S8W1: How much of a scout am I ?

{ The scout is helpful }

Scouts are very helpful. Thanks, scouts who have eroded my embarrassment to appear. Scouting has been a long history of my school career. Many stories of joy and sorrow are created.

Once day, my father scolded me for being late because of a scout. At that time, I ventured to explain what made me late coming home. After I explained this in a heart-to-heart approach, my father's anger subsided. He hugged me and said, "Keep on doing good, my dear, and don't get bored with it.

{ Scouts help me dare to compete }

Scouts are very helpful, I chose this point because I feel something very different about myself. My first personal experience was when I joined a scouting organization when I was in junior high school. I used to be very embarrassed to appear in front, whether it was for presentations or just answering questions when we sat in group presentations in class.

I was reluctant to appear because I am a shy person, but in the world of scouts, there is no such thing as shame. And I had to sing with friends and wash away the embarrassment. In Pramuka, Pidie Jaya Regency, there is a meritorious name. We call him Kak Fery.

Scouts made me dare to appear. Since being active in scouting, I have also started participating in competitions held at school. Scouts are cool. If only time could be repeated, I still want to be a Scout. From Scouts, we learn friendship with nature, extraordinary cohesiveness, and loyalty to each other's friends.

I got to know scouts for the first time through my sports teacher when I was in grade 2 of junior high school. My PE teacher is very strict. When he taught us hiking and other marching rules he was very firm.

His distinctive voice made him highly respected by every student. He is very similar to an army commander when leading his troops. Now I don't know where he teaches. In Indonesia, scouts are a symbol of unity and cohesiveness. Scout members are known to be helpful and expect nothing in return.

{ Our motto }

I still remember the yells we used to shout when we were writing this post. My best friend, as if in front of the eyes, is cheering together again. Scouts save a million memories.

In the past, our team had a motto "Hesitating to retreat, bathing in sweat on the field is better than bathing in blood on the battlefield." That motto made our team respected by other teams.
