I've heard that "the most enjoyable job is a paid hobby." This kind of work is truly extraordinary in my opinion.

Talking about work, I have started working since I was in elementary school (SD). The economy of my parents, which is far from enough, makes me have to work hard to help my family. In the morning studying at school, in the afternoon going to the garden about to help them. Help them in harvesting high mangoes and coconuts. I continued to do this work until high school. I even use school holidays to work as a construction worker.

I am very grateful to be introduced to Mr. @damanhurabbas by my cousin brother Jafaruddin. He (@damanhurabbas) has paid for my school (SMA) and college until I finished a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering at Malikussaleh University. So I can focus more on completing my studies in college. In the following, I will tell you about some of the work I have done since college until now.

Field Work Practice at Cement Factory

While studying in semester 6, I took a practical assignment to the industrial world to apply the knowledge I learned in college to the real world of work. The industry I'm aiming for is the cement industry. More precisely at PT Solusi Bangun Andalas. I worked there for 2 months. There he worked while learning about the cement-making process. Starting from taking raw materials, crushing, mixing, refining, burning, packing and others. This is where I recognize the tools that are so sophisticated in use. During the holidays I fill with Scouting activities. Even though I didn't know him at first, in the end we were brothers like brothers.

Science Laboratory Assistant in Junior High School

After working at the cement factory, I was called to SMP Negeri 5 Lhokseumawe to become an assistant to the Science Laboratory (Biology and Physics). I worked here for 3 years. Until the completion of undergraduate education S1. He also often goes to class (especially 3rd grade) to replace the Physics teacher who can't attend. This is where I learned to practice patience in educating children. I am very comfortable working as a laboratory assistant. So I feel like I'm in my comfort zone, but my income is far from enough.

Working as a Fire Engineer

During the 2018 semester break, I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and look for new challenges. So I applied for a job at PT. Pama Jaya Persada Bersama. This privately owned company is engaged in the distribution of safety equipment, such as alarm systems, security systems, fire systems, hydrant systems and others. I was assigned in the field of Fire system and hydrant system. Here I am often assigned as a tutor during fire simulations. However, the problem is the same as before, namely the salary / wages given are not in accordance with the duties and responsibilities that I receive. Even far from the regional minimum wage. So after 7 months of work I decided to research. Of course, after negotiating a raise with the company, there was no common ground.

Become A Truck Driver Assistant And Security

On November 26, 2019 I got a call to work at PT. Asai Mula Perdatasa as a truck driver assistant. This company is a third party from Pertamina which is engaged in the distributor of subsidized 3 kg LPG gas. Here I work more physically and do not know time. Go early in the morning, come home late at night. So after 2 years of work, in December 2021 to be more precise, I suffered from pneumonia (pneumonia), so I had to be treated by a medical doctor. Underwent treatment for a week at the hospital Kesrem Lhokseumawe.

In early 2022 I tried to consult with the company and asked for waivers and solutions. Thank God I was given relief and a solution, namely that I was assigned to be a security guard / warehouse keeper (security in the warehouse). Here I work using a shift system. There are three people on duty alternately. One of my current co-workers is Abang @harferri. Because I often meet him at work, I was reintroduced by him about [Steemit] (https://steemit.com/trending/my). Brother @harferri is my mentor and role model in the world of Steemit. Until now I still work at PT. Asai Mula Perdatasa as security.

Actually the job of security at is very easy. Daily tasks of standing by at the post and opening the gates when trucks go in or out. And here we are not wearing official Security clothes. Only wear casual but polite clothes. I really enjoy this job.

Of the many jobs that I have tried, only during field practice work (the first one) is in accordance with undergraduate science. In fact, deep down in my heart I really want to work as a Chemical Engineering in the industrial world so that I can implement the knowledge I have learned under the bachelor's degree. I have tried to make it happen, but the opportunity is not on my side. Hopefully one day I can establish my own industry that can create jobs for other people.
