Flying Fox can be interpreted as a game of sliding from one place to another, be it a tree pole or other strong object. using Carmantel Rope or Steel Sling.
This game trains courage and determination in making decisions. When trying it, we must be able to fight fear before finally deciding to join. Then after sliding there are various extraordinary sensations that make us as participants want to repeat the slide again
Especially in outbound training activities, it is not perfect without this Flying Fox game. Well, it turns out that this game itself turns out to be in a very challenging category. so need adequate equipment to try it. also adequate security and experienced operators and instructors. But indeed what we are doing is training, that's why we only use makeshift equipment.
Did you know that at first the flying fox activity was used. In Australia, the activity of flying fox is used to deliver goods. be it food, equipment or other tools from one place to another far apart and separated by a large river in the middle. Then on its development This method has also been used by Australian troops to deliver food, mail, ammunition and other items in wartime.
For those of you who have never played this sport, you will definitely feel a different experience when you soar above the heights and glide very quickly across. When the wind blows through the body, Looking down from a height.
some experience feeling like their heart is going to drop and scream loudly every time it slides from above. Actually, for the bigger and more serious category of rides, it takes some complete equipment to play this Flying Fox game. including Carmantel / Steel Sling, Harnes, Carabiner, Pulley, and Helmet
Activities that are usually carried out in the open will provide a "new space" for students over the domination of the class that has been "shackled". Thus, in this outdoor activity students can express their talents and interests freely and happily.
That's the practice of playing Flying Fox that we did on the sidelines of campus activities. I hope many people like and like my writing. greetings to all scout members in this community.
