VERY SAD TO SEE HIM SICK

If you look closely you will see that Leo is blind in his left eye. This happened years ago when he fought with another cat of the neighbours. It did not seem to matter too much to him

But I have sad news. Leo is now very sick. Three days ago the eye looked bad and we cleaned it but Leo was not well. He was unbalanced and tilting his head to the one side. I thought it was because of the eye, it seemed infected. So off we went to the Vet.

He is really not well and we are very worried and just hope that he will get well soon. He already lost some weight.

The vet says he got Vestibular disease. The Vet compares it to a human that had a stroke.

A loss of balance commonly occurs when a cat is suffering from vestibular disease. Your cat may experience issues with standing on all four legs, and you may even notice your cat leaning or falling over at times, which can be a frightening sight. Luckily he doesn't have all of the symptoms above. He is just unbalanced, tilting his head to the one side and his appetite is not good. We just shower him with love and do all we can to make him comfortable.

The Vet gave him medicine and said it can clear up in a few days or it can get worse. So we are hoping and praying, as he is a member of our family. It is very sad to see him so sick.
