Greetings fellow steemians of this great and amazing community, I hope everyone is good, welcome to my blog. I just want to share with you about some facts about this amazing aquatic animal called whale.

whales
A whale is the biggest or largest aquatic animal (lives under water). And it belongs to the order cetacea. Just like mammals, whales breathes air in to lungs, They are warm blooded, feeds their young ones with milk, they are hairy (but not too hairy).

body structure
Their bodies are like the streamlined form of a fish, while the forelimbs or flippers are paddle shaped. The whales tail fins or flukes support it to propel it self through the water. Some species of whales have fins on their back known as a dorsal

Behaviors
We different species of whales baleen and toothed whale, Many whales, most especially baleen whales tends to migrate long distance from their cold water feeding grounds or ponds on their animal migration.

Habitat
Whales lives in all the worlds ocean, though their specific range varies by species.

Diet
The diets recommended for whales depends on their species ; it can range from microscopic plankton to large to marine mammal.

communication
Whale vocalization is likely to serve several purposes. Some species, such as the humpback whale, communicate using melodic sounds, known as whale song. These sounds may be extremely loud, depending on the species. Humpback whales only have been heard making while toothed whales use sonar that may generate up to 20,000 watts of sound (+73 dBm or +43 dBw) and be heard for many miles away.
