Hello steemitians, hope your day went well. I am now writing my diary for yesterday, the 24th of August. Hope you enjoy it.

Yesterday wasn't bad. A lot of things, both pleasant and otherwise happened. But all I care to remember are the pleasant ones. 

 Diary time is always an exciting time for me. I get to relive the pleasant experiences of the day. So as you read I hope you relive those good moments with me.

Let's start with morning time.

Morning (6am - 11am): Most Of My Time Was Spent Alone But It Was Awesome

After Waking Up Yesterday

I woke up this morning. Actually I had been awake through the night. I failed to take my antidepressants last night so I didn't sleep much.

When it was 6am, I asked my junior sister to cook me some food. I then went to the backyard to have some time alone reading and brainstorming.

I had spent barely 30 minutes when I was told someone was looking for me. It was a woman that had come to help my mother harvest some of her corn and sell them, and I was to follow her to the farm. My parents and youngest sister had travelled to the village for something important.

I went off with the woman and we harvested the corn. They were good sizable cobs. We then counted and arranged and priced them. She gave me the money for the whole bunch and took it off to sell.

I came home and had the delicious rice my younger sister had cooked. Some minutes later my two siblings both left the house and I was alone.

I enjoyed some roasted in the morning while watching television

I watched some programs on television for some time. Then I went off to the kitchen to get something to eat. I roasted some corn, brought them to the sitting room and enjoyed them while watching television.

I watched television, and occasionally looked at my books till 12 noon.

Afternoon (12pm - 6pm): A Very Busy But Cool Afternoon

When it was noon, I boiled some water and had a warm bath. I then went off to wash a few clothes. When I was done with the washing, I did more chores. I worked at chores for the next 1 -2 hours.

My father unexpectedly returned from the village alone. He is a legal practitioner and had come to attend to some legal businesses. 

As the afternoon wore on, I went off to play some football with some of the children outside. We played for about 30 minutes before I returned to the house.

I stayed with my dad and watched television together. We ate and discussed while we watched the TV. He told me my youngest sister and my mum were still at the village doing some family work.

After some time with my father, he prepared to return to the village. He would return finally tomorrow morning together with my mother and youngest sister.

After he left, I went out to look for some of my friends to spend some time. They weren't around so I returned to the house.

I was busy on my phone for some time, browsing steemit, Facebook and other websites. I was completely exhausted by the time it was 5pm.

Evening/Night (6pm - 12am): My Day Ended Quite Well

At exactly 5:30 pm I went off to visit friends. I visited a friend of mine, a barber at his barbing saloon. We had some discussions. 

Soon the heavens was dark and it started drizzling. It soon turned to full rain. I hastened home. By the time I hit the living room I was completely drenched. 

I undressed and went out to set the containers to collect some rain water and then come back inside.

I watched some interesting programs on TV yesterday

I thought the television would be the best to spend the time so I turned it on. I watched some interesting shows and programs and some sports. I watched a live streaming of the ongoing Beach Soccer World Cup hosted in Russia. I turned to the Nickoledeon channel and watched some interesting shows. I finally tuned in to another channel to watch one of my favourite shows.

I roasted more corn and ate. I watched the TV and read books until my younger brother came back from work. He works at a bakery and usually comes home late at night.

 I spent some time on my books, reading, studying and brainstorming. It lasted for about an hour, before I stopped and rested for a while.

My day ended quite well

I soon took my antidepressants and went off to sleep so I could wake up refreshed in the morning.
