Well have you ever been at any point in your life standing at the cross road, wandering which path is to take. Well the excitement, challenge and the uncertainty of choosing the right path can be done thing for most of us. Well when opportunity comes and knocking at your door. Should you open the door. Welcome the opportunity. Or should you close the door. Keep it close always, not let in the opportunity come in. That is something that a coach and mentor really help us with.
So well friends today we will talk about who exactly is a coach and how do they help. And who is a mentor and how do they help

Coaching:
In coaching you don’t really defining a strategy for particular client. Actually helping them learn and teaching is a step by step procedure
Well managers and the supervisors are working very closely to understand what is your performance area and where is exactly to really need to improve yourself. And they assign a coach to help to do so. Well in a coaching process there is an emotional bond between two people and because of which there is an individual challenge . And is actually challenge beyond the calls of duties and really sharper his inner voice in a positive manner. And there is lot of technical help features giving to that particular person. As well as a lot of personal support need it out to that person. Well friends coaching is not something that which is complicated. It is actually a simple guided process. It also helps you in many fields. Which is also helping to overcome the negative distracting voice which is there in your inner sense
Mentoring:
Mentoring is someone who helps someone learn the steps what they already know. They are really doing it slowly or if they are left alone they will not do it also you are inspiring and motivating
There are certain differences between mentoring and coaching and certain well known defined lines between mentoring and coaching.

Who Should have a mentor?
Now we will look at that why we should have a mentor. If we talk about in an office setup, who are the people whom you feel can allocate a mentor for.
- Well Newly Prompted Employees:When you get promoted, you are actually looking at new skill set. And you are actually new set of roles and responsibilities. So , somebody who is promoted , definitely need a mentor to help him ,guide him and advice him
- Somebody who have taken a complete new role, somebody who have shifted department from marketing. He has gone to another department. For example, it could be business development
- Somebody whose mentor ready to take advice’s and skills of a mentor. So you need to have a frame of mind which is of mentor ready
- Those peoples who need mentor actually employees carrier oriented. Rather than being job oriented. Now people work at working places has generally a short term vision
- Employees who actually really think on themselves are people who are more self aware. These are kind of people who have mentor
Steps of Coaching:
Coaching is five steps. Its a very simple.
- Access
- Set Goals
- Plan
- Execute
- Reach your goal
Benefits of Coaching:
A coach is really helping you work on your skill set. It Overcoming problems. So whatever the problem which an employee face with regards to certain performance. Which she is really not doing. The reason why the coach is shown to a person or is given to a person or assign to a person. Its because they help you to increase your productivity. So that’s again a benefit
