Today i am sharing the recipe of brown lentils its easy to cook and good in taste. In Pakistan its liked with boiled rice or also with nan and roti.

Ingredients | Qunatity |
---|---|
Brown lentil | 1 cup |
Onion | 1 |
Tomato | 2 |
Green chillies | 2 to 3 |
Oil | for cooking |
Red chillies | 1/2 teaspoon |
Turmeric | 3/4 teaspoon |
Salt | as required |
Cumin | 1/2 teaspoon |
Garlic cloves | 8 to 10 |
How to cook
Step 1
- Soaked the brown lentil in water for 20 minutes before cooking.
Step 2
- Take pressure cooker added oil and chopped onion, fry it till golden.
Step 3
- Added chopped tomatoes and spices in it.
Step 4
- Fry it till aroma came. And add brown lentils also.
Step 5
- Added 4 cup of water wait till boiling.
Step 6
- Now, added brown lentils and closed the pressure cooker. When voice of whistle start boiled for 15 minutes.
Step 7
Its done.
Take frying pan put little oil and added chopped garlic clove in it, light golden it and spread over cooked brown lentils.
Step 8
- Served with rice its really delicious.
